Chapter 33

Making a Mess

Alicia had pretended not to hear Harry last night, and forced herself just to fall asleep. She woke up first and crawled over to straddle Harry. He was so beautiful when he slept. His cute puffy lips pouted, his eyes fluttering every so often. His skin was so warm and welcoming. She leaned forward and shook his shoulders gently, "Harry."

He woke up slowly, a grumble leaving his lips as rolled over. Harry wasn't thinking therefore he didn't process the fact that the weight on his lower torso was Alicia. When he rolled over, he rolled her over with him and that was when finally realized he just about made her fall of the bed. Harry wrapped his arms around her blindly, just wanting to make sure she wasn't going to fall. "Oh my god, Harry!" She squeaked as she tried to get close to his chest. "You trying to kill me?" Alicia giggled as she kissed his cheek.

"No, babe I just....I'm so tired." Harry admitted as he wrapped his leg over her hip. "Well I would tell you to sleep in and get some rest, but you need to go to your lawyers office. They called and left a message like last week for you to come in." She told him, honestly she'd forgotten all about it till then.

"Ali, I can't take Astrid with me there so you'll keep her right?" Harry said as he stated into her eyes, finding them to be so stunning.

"Yeah, not an issue. I'll cook us up some dinner, if you can give a time you think you'll be home." Alicia said, she was surprised how this was falling altogether. She could let Astrid meet Joe, and still be home before Harry.

Then she sighed to herself, thinking of how big of a fucking slut she was. She almost couldn't help it though, she'd never been able to really settle down. She had her reasons. Alicia had seen her Dad run around on her mom all her life. He'd cheat on her openly and run her into the ground, but still control her mum. She swore she'd never get attached to one man, she'd never put herself in a position where she could be emotionally hurt and be so controlled as her mum was. But this wasn't an excuse for cheating on Harry, he'd been so good to her other than the few times he'd lost his nerve.

"Alicia can you even hear me? I said 5 o'clock." Harry interrupted her thoughts, he could tell she was zoned out on him.

"Yeah, yeah sorry... I'll make you something nice." She told him, her fingers toying with his little ringlet curls.

"I love you, and I'll bring you something nice home. Okay?" Harry said as he leaned further into her hand, he loved her touch. Her fingers were so small and delicate, they always made nimble movements but they were so gentle no matter what they were doing.

"You don't have to baby." She told him with a smile, that only faltered when she Astrid's loud pitiful cry sounded from her bedroom.

Alicia gave him a look and then got up and left him to take his shower, and get ready. She went down the hallway to her bedroom. "Azie, honey what's wrong?" She cooed as she went over and picked up her little girl.

Astrid didn't answer, so many things were wrong and she didn't yet know how to express them all. She needed her diaper changed, she wanted to be held, she was hungry, and she was cold. Not to mention she did not appreciate her hair being all in her face.

Alicia held her close for a moment just showing her affections towards her, she loved her so much. Then she changed her diaper, Astrid kicking around and gurgling the whole time. "Mommy!" She squealed loudly as her shirt was tugged over her head.

"Calm down, what do you want to wear today sweetheart?" Alicia asked as she picked her back up and walked over to the closet.

"All of them." Astrid giggled, so amused by the thought.
