Chapter 37
Mend
Alicia was released the next day, she was feeling alright but certaintly not like normal. Harry had picked up her stuff from the hotel and went back and paid the bill. He was currently watching her unpack her stuff and putting it back where it belonged. Finn was sitting next to him on the bed, watching Alicia as well. Astrid had spent the whole time with Steven, so when she finally got dropped back off here she'd probably be so happy to see her mom again.
"Harry can we talk?" Alicia asked as she put her last bag away. She finally turned around to meet his eyes, taking a few steps towards him.
"Sure, what about Alicia? Is something wrong?" He asked as he put Finn back down on the floor only to watch the puppy run off somewhere down the hallway.
"I just want you to know that I love you, and what I did was a big mistake. I want us to still get married next month." Ali said almost in a pleading tone, she was falling back into her old ways as she moved to stand in between his legs. She kept her smile innocent, though and didn't touch him at all. Well, not yet at least.
"I don't understand why you did what you did, but I realize that we all make mistakes and I still love you. I don't trust you at all, but I do love you. I can't just drop you like that, you mean to much to me." Harry said, not exactly looking at her eyes in the moment. Who could blame him? He'd been alone for two weeks, and here she was; his sexy fiancee standing there right infront of him. It didn't help that she was wearing something low-cut. Did she expect him not to stare?
"I'm glad you decided to forgive me Harry." She purred in response, turning around to put her back to him. Harry wasn't sitting exactly on the edge of the bed, there was a tad bit of room and Alicia took advantage of that. She sat down there, pretty much on his lap and leaned back against his chest.
Harry told himself he wasn't going to do this, he wasn't going to let her do this to him. But when the oppurtunity arose, it was easier said than done. His large hand slipped around her waist pulling her hips closer to him. His other hand pushed her hair to one side so he could see her neck and the side of her face. Harry was just about to kiss her neck when the door bell rang. "Thank God." He whispered, watching her as she got up and began to run.
Alicia was literally running, even though she was supposed to be doing easy stuff. Nothing to lethargic. She knew it was Astrid getting dropped off and she couldn't stop herself. The blonde pulled open the door and almost cried when she saw her little girl. She'd never doubted the Harry could keep her safe and care for her; it was just that she was so used to being almost never apart from her baby and two weeks is a long time. Steven let go of Astrid's hand and watched as Astrid toddled into her Alicia's arms.
"Mama!" Astrid literally screamed, she had her little arms around Alicia's neck. Alicia picked her up quickly holding her close to her chest.
"I missed you so much Azie, Mommy loves you. I'm so sorry I left you, I won't ever leave you again. I love you." Alicia rambled as she just continued to bounce and twist slightly. She loved her daughter, and that was pretty obvious.
Harry came up behind them, hugging Alicia from behind, rather awkwardly. "Daddy missed you Astrid, I'm so glad you're home. How 'bout you let me hold you, Mommy has a boo boo on her arm. We need to be gentle with Mommy, okay?"
"Otay." Astrid said as she let Harry take her, she hugged him too. Of course she missed her Daddy, he was the one who was with her almost 24/7. But she had missed her mother dearly, it had been much longer since she'd seen her .
"What happened to Alicia? Why is she even here? Harry, did you seriously take her back. You're such a push over, honestly she has you so whipped that its pitiful." Steven finally spoke, and when he did all eyes turned to him. Harry wasn't going to stand for anyone talking to him like that, especially when it also involved Alicia.
