Chapter 27

Alicia stumbled down the stairs unable to look up at Harry. She had no real reason to fear Harry, but she did anyways. Her head hung low as she concentrated on her feet. Harry stalkedup to her soundlessly. "Love me." He hissed at her, feeling very unloved at the moment. "Harry I-" She started, but Harry's booming voice silenced her. "Shut up. Shut the hell up!" He screamed, causing her to jump back atleast three feet. She felt submissive too him, nodding gently and starting to tear up. He looked cold, like a bleak snow covered tundra. His expression set in stone, and his eyes lifeless. "What's wrong with you!" He continued, and started to back her up. His lips contorting into a wicked smirk as she met the hard sheetrock. "Alicia you are so naïve. Since when did is it okay to invite other men into my house, my fucking house!"

"Har-"

"Did I say you could speak?!"

"No."

"Then shut up." Harry answered snippily, he reached out and threaded his fingers through her hair. She screwed her eyes shut, and held her breath expecting a harsh slap or something. He however kept his touch gentle, ghosting over her skin and hair in the slightest. "Alicia tell me that you don't have any feelings for Steven." Harry growled, lowering her lips to her ear.

"Oh so now I can speak."

Harry felt something snap inside, anger burned like an inferno within him. He involuntarily grabbed a bigger handful of her soft hair, tugging it. She whimpered and squeaked, turning her head to the side. "Harry please, I'm sorry. I don't have feelings for Steven, an you're hurting me." She cried out. Harry watched her painfully begin to sob as he pulled a little harder.

"Harry!" She screamed, and started to shake. When he didn't stop she brought her knee between his legs. Harry released his hold on her, wincing and hunching over. Alicia ran away up the stairs. In a mad sprint she grabbed nothing but Harry's spare car keys and Astrid. Hustling down the stairs, trying not to drop either item she held, and then bolting to the door.

All the while Astrid was wailing and squirming. "Azie, please please be quiet!" The blonde begged of the baby. Harry was nowhere in sight, as she went to the car. Flinging the backdoor open and expertly buckling the seat up. Then she manually locked that door and shut it. Just as she was about to climb into the drivers seat a large arm wrapped around her waist.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Let go of me! Get off!" She screamed and kicked as she was dangled just above the ground.

"Be quiet, goddamnit you are causing a scene! Get my baby out of the car and come inside with me."

"Help! Somebody help me! Let me go, you hurt me. Please anyone help me!" She shouted praying one of the neighbors would save her. Maybe Harry hadn't been cured after all.

A young neighbor around their age, one Alicia had never laid eyes on before came busting out of his apartment. He had nice combed back brown hair, and brown eyes. He had a rugged amount of facial hair as well, and that was all Alicia noticed. "Hey, get off her! You don't handle women like that!" He yelled, and stepped up to Harry. Apparently he was willing to fight for the blonde's well being.

"This is my fiancee. I can do as I wish, and that's my baby she's trying to leave with." He seethed. His hand squeezing tightly around her poor wrist, Alicia was trying her best not to cry.

"Listen here shit face, we're are going to have a very big problem if you don't let her go. Fiancee or not you're hurting her, and it's obvious she wants to leave."

Harry shoved his fragile lover aside suddenly, and laughed as she fell for a moment. "You want to fight? We'll fight."

Alicia didn't stick around to see what happened next, she took off in the Land Rover. To her pleasure Astrid had cried herself back to sleep, at least she was resting though. The poor baby must've been cold, after all it was winter, and Alicia hadn't had time to dress her appropriately. Being smarter this time around, knowing after the fight Harry would kill himself looking for her so she went to the only place she could think of; Steven's.

She felt like if she stayed with him, that he would keep her and Astrid safe. He would make it all better for now. Harry wouldn't be able to hurt either of them if Steven was there. She parked, and collected the two items she'd managed to retrieve in her fleet. Taking short stutter steps all the way to the door. His place looked like a bachelor's pad, and that's exactly what it was.

"Hello." Steven said as he opened the door, eyes lighting up as they took in Alicia. Though his brows knitted together in confusion as he saw her tears, and the bruising on her wrist, and part of her neck. He stepped out towards her, and knew something was seriously wrong when she flinched back. "Alicia, honey, come inside." He beckoned, and she followed his instruction.

Now Steven did have some baby stuff in his pad, due to the fact he watched Azie before, and absolutely adored children. Meaning that before they talked Astrid was put back down for her nap that she was yet to really even start.

Both adults now sat on the couch, Alicia tucked into Steven's side, sniffing and crying. "Tell me what's wrong sweetheart." He cooed into her ear, and soothingly rubbed her arm.

"Harry, Harry, he hurt me. He was yelling, cussing, pulling my hair. I tried to run, but he caught me at the car, there he- he was picking me up and trying to make me go back in! He hurt my wrist. I'm scared. He- he would've got me if it weren't for our neighbor." She recalled painfully, her body shaking at the memories.

Steven's grip on her tightened, he knew this was bound to happen sometime. Harry hurt everyone, he just couldn't stop himself. He never would've imagined he could've hurt Ali though. It just was never plausible.

"You're safe with me. Baby it's okay, I won't let him hurt you." He promised her calmly even though he was infuriated on the inside. Harry had the most precious women, and there he went abusing her.

"I don't know how I feel Steven. I just want to stay here til I sort my feelings out, just please don't let him hurt me or Az."

"You're safe here."
