Prologue

Prologue:

10 years since he left.
10 years I've waited for him to comeback.

He left me because of his passion in music. I missed him so bad. I missed my only friend.

He said he need to go. He said he need to leave. I can't even do a thing even. I'm only his best friend.

Even though I don't want him to go... I still let him go.

Ayoko sana, pero ito 'yung gusto niya. Ito 'yung desire niya.

(past)

"I need to talk to you."

"Is there a problem? What's wrong?" I still asked him though I knew everything. Alam ko na aalis siya. Alam ko na kelangan niya akong iwan.

"I need to tell you about my dream..."
"Sorry if I didn't told you about this." Eto na nga talaga 'to eh.

"I need to leave. Sorry if I didn't tell you this earlier."

"I'll be training in YG entertainment. I've passed the audition."

"I-I'm happy for you! Congratulation." I try to control my tears. I smiled---fake smile.

"Ice!" I looked at him.

"I'm happy for you. I'm very happy. Please don't worry about me. I know you can do it! I'll be your very very first fan." That's my promise.

"I won't gonna forget you. I swear I'll comeback and I'm gonna work hard for you." And that's a lie.

The lie that I still believe will come true. But I guess I need to stop and let go of that lie.

He's already a star. I'm sure he won't anymore know me as a friend, but as a stranger. I guess I'll be a fan in the crowd.
