"Son," said Flash Sentry to Night Diamond after school one day, "your mom has something to tell you."
"What is it momma?" Night Diamond asks with yearning eyes.
"I'm having a foal, you're going to be a big brother," replies Twilight. Night Diamond can't conceal his excitement. He can't wait to be a big brother. Twilight can't help but smile. Flash puts his hoof over her shoulder and smiles too. They're glad to see their son so excited.
"He's really excited, huh?" Says Twilight as she looks up at Flash Sentry.
"Yes, he's very excited indeed," he replies as they go outside for a stroll before supper in the Royal dining hall.
