One day after school, Davie gets a letter from Gilda. He flies up to his special spot and reads it.
"Dear Davie," he reads, "how's it going for you in Ponyville? What's it like living there? Do you miss Griffonstone? Do you miss me and your other friends here? I hope to hear back from you soon little buddy. I miss you, Gilda".
He puts the letter in his beak and flies inside to write Gilda back.
"Dear Gilda," he writes, "it's going well. I've made two new friends: Ditzy and Screwball. They're super sweet. It's great living here minus the bullies in my class. The colts don't like me that much at all. Of coarse, I miss Griffonstone. Of coarse, I miss you and the others Gilda. I hope to visit someday soon. Your little buddy, Davie". He then sends it straight away to Griffonstone. He can't wait for Gilda to receive it and read it to the rest of her friends.
