Series Two, Episode One - Bewildered (April 26, 2013)

​Six months have passed. Arriving to post breakfast roll call, an evil eyed Nickey takes notes and whispers to others about 'enacting his plan'. Suddenly, with a call of the word 'kill', a flurry of knives and makeshift weapons assist Nickey's magic as they overtake the Asylum. Waking to reveal it a dream, Nickey takes notes on the dream, and notices the date. Waking Kara, he informs her that "it's show time". Talking, as they run, of the plan, the elder Power uses his magic to escape their locked room, and open the computer lab. A computer in hand, his magic leads them to a forgotten storage room, which he locks them inside. While they eat from the vast amount of reserves, Nickey uses hacking skills he learnt from Maya to open the computer wide up - as he uses Kara's hairpin as a web conferencing device.

​March 1, 2014. Standing frozen in a circle in a warehouse, sixteen men are suddenly made mobile as the lights turn on. Confused a man named 'Wicked' takes charge, revealing magic's return. As a young member of eighteen talks to another member of the 'Sunlight Society', the man reveals that he was frozen as a toddler, when the Powers were captured. Angry at his forced induction, the boy, named Seymour, forces his way to find Wicked. Finding him inside the highest point, the boss picks up on his hostility with just a few sentences. Showing the mark on his hand to Wicked, Seymour instinctively forces it into the boss' stomach. Killing him and void of the mark, the young adult escapes on foot. Meeting two travellers on the road to Novus Somnium, he plays down his age and convinces them to take him.

​Forcing 'Brianna' to watch the report of Nickey's capture on repeat, Darcy is unsurprised that she doesn't recognise him. They talk of the Power issue, Brianna knowing she must keep her Powership secret - as she compliments that Nickey is 'goddamn adorable'. Taking her into a hospital room, the doctor shows her that Charlie is still comatose. Revealing that the strength required would kill him, he asks her to magically revive him, to which she replies "Why? I've got no connection to him, nor a need to do it." As he insists, she reluctantly agrees as he sneaks from the room. Using her magic, the mayor suddenly wakes - not knowing his daughter is right in front of him. Darcy returns and they talk to the mayor. Revealing he doesn't remember much except fire, Brianna suggests that they involve him in 'child converse therapy'.

​Trying for days to get a connection, Kara begins to fear that they will be discovered. As he talks to reassure her, they suddenly receive a contact request. Not knowing who it could be, Nickey answers it - to the sight of Julien and Mina. He talks to them momentarily, as Julien asks of Kara. The siblings meeting for the first time outside of his letters to her, a somewhat awkward situation quickly becomes loving. Nickey takes the shot back, as the two offer to help the Powers escape. Off camera, Mina shows to Julien her progress - as she brings up an Asylum map, and the records of every Power in there.

​Expressing his horror that Charlie has woken after six months, V talks to Edmund of the repercussions. Noticing an 'M' mark on the calendar, Edmund tells his associate that he'll be fully healed. V takes off his mask, revealing an aged but unscarred Vera, who throws the mask and cloak off - saying it is time people know where she is. To their surprise, they receive an email from someone - who threatens both Edmund and Vera that the Sunlight Society is coming after them. Not worrying, Vera discusses a need to find Arianna, which Edmund accepts. They walk the streets, unknowingly passing by Maya as they cross a road.

​Talking violently of their continually weakening magic, the Sunlight Society anticipates the return of their leader. As he arrives, they bow, and he drops his crow-feather umbrella to reveal Darcy Hedney Junior. He calls out a girl named Lyla, whom he takes to the highest point. Instructing Lyla to immerse herself in society, he asks her to recover a small gem which Seymour took when he deserted them. Meanwhile, in Novus Somnium, Seymour steps out of a cab and into a magic shop. Talking to the owner, he gives his name as Stan Dallta, as it is revealed he works there. Fascinating kids with displays, which he knows as actual magic, Lula watches from across the street, as she heads into an apartment building secretly.

​Learning from Letitia of Arianna's location, Maya visits the hospital. Watching as Brianna goes about her duties, Maya approaches her cousin, although she cannot comprehend. Attempting to talk to her anyway, she learns that Brianna loves to party, and to swim. Noticing Darcy on her way out, she tries to ask him where Arianna is, but he plays as if the name is completely foreign to him. Upset and angry, Maya finds herself out late at night. Revealing that she is sleeping on park benches with only a small bag, and without work, she is found by Mina. Telling her to come quickly, she reveals that they are only steps away from a magical revolution.

2.02 - Dear Noah

Finding respite in Child Converse Therapy, Charlie's recollection comes to him, as Nickey reunites with Maya. Vera sees the truth in the Society's threat, when she decides Charlie may be of use.
