Series Two, Episode Two - Dear Noah (May 3, 2013)

​Assisting her true father with his exercises, Brianna and Charlie share conversation regarding the politics of the city. As she takes him from the centre to a coffee shop, he confides in her that he knows of the magic they used to save him. The two continue talking, and the young Power enquires of the situation, to which he reveals his children are the Powers at large. Joined by Doctor Darcy upon their return to the mayor's room, he and Brianna share whispers of Charlie. Explaining to the mayor 'Child Converse Therapy', she reveals that Charlie will be put in voice contact with a young child named Noah. Upon their leave, Darcy threatens Brianna into finding out more - warning her that Noah's calls are monitored.

​Woken from days of security confinement, Maya is dragged by Mina to Julien. Revealing to her their new office, both explain that they have ways into the Asylum - and that they know a way to get all the Powers out. Connecting with Nickey's base, the cousins share a moment of reunion, as Julien warns them that they have to act quickly. As Mina sends to Nickey the files on the Asylum, Maya uses her knowledge of police databases to retrieve for them a list of all prominent Asylum officers. Showing the list to the Powers, Kara confirms the names of those who assaulted her, as Nickey declares 'they must die first'. Disconnecting, Mina and Julien offer Maya residence if she helps. She accepts, but says her main goal is to find out what happened to Ari.

​Watching Stan at work and relaying his movements to a phone contact, Lyla moves into the store itself. Confronting Stan, she talks of her knowledge and the Society, and while he denies it, she threatens him with her mark. Throwing him into a van, she drives to an apartment, walking him in as if he were drunk. Tying him to a chair, Lyla asks him about the gem, until stopped by her contact - Letitia. The two women talk, forcing Stan to keep quiet. Asking Lyla to retrieve her something, Stan enquires into Letitia about her motives - as she reveals that it will help her win their boss' favour, and he will help her find Ari's mother - revealing she doesn't know who their boss is. Upon Lyla's return, she cuts his wrists as torture - giving to Letitia a photo of Arianna.

​Sitting at the harbourside, Vera and Edmund share a heart to heart regarding their plan - as Vera reveals her new goal is to destroy the threat of the Sunlight Society. As Edmund comforts her, the magician admits that their subsequent emails have gotten to her. As a young girl named Lien sits next to Vera, they continue their conversation. Mentioning magic, Lien overhears - asking Vera to show her. Running from the girl, she gives chase - though it is quickly revealed that Lien was an illusion of Vera's daydream. She discusses with Edmund the risks of them being overheard, as he shows her, in the paper, where Charlie is.

Having spoken to Noah many times, Charlie shares his progress of memory restoration to Brianna - he remembers a hooded man mentioning Vera. Calling him again as she leaves, the two 'friends' talk of Charlie's fears, and he tells the mayor that Ari was not captured during his coma. They continue their exchange, Charlie putting immense trust in the young boy, as they discuss magic, and his secret lineage. Noah tries to find out more about the night of the firestorm, and taking it the wrong way, Charlie talks of himself killing Vera. With Darcy's sudden entrance, he hangs up, as Darcy enquires as to what he had said about magic.

​Going through Mina's map, Nickey relays to Kara his plan to completely free the Asylum, as she helps plan an escape route. Wondering how their disappearance is being taken, Nickey sends Kara through the duct vents. As she sneaks around the roof of the Somnium Asylum, she overhears the guard which abused her - speaking of the missing Powers. Telling his superior that the bodies were found and disposed of, Kara runs back, giggling as she informs Nickey of the result. As the two once again speak to Maya, she reveals that a 'witch doctor' has stolen Arianna's memories. Comforted by Kara as he cries, Nickey uses his magic to vent his anger. Suddenly, he breaks away the wall, revealing a hidden staircase.

​As Charlie rests late at night, hanging up on Noah for the evening, the sudden appearance of Vera in his room startles him. The former lovers converse, the mayor expressing his horror in her living status. She continues to remark darkly about his attempts, as he enquires into the 'murderer' that Vera had sent. Refusing to answer, she talks of magic and of him condemning their children to a terrible life. Suddenly, alerted to the intrusion, Darcy and Brianna burst in. The doctor recognising her, she forces him towards the wall with magic, knocking him out. She tells Charlie that they'll need to remain allies. Vera walks away from the room in an evil huff, whispering to herself "Arianna....I wonder how long you thought you could hide?"

As the identity of Vera's H comes to light, Arianna has gone missing, while Darcy Jr. formulates a plan to have Stan in his group. Nickey and Kara seem close to being discovered - an error by her giving them away.
