"So you guys literally took on that Swan Super Mutant Behemoth?" asked Suzy.

"Yeah," said Alex. "Really scary monster if you ask me."

"Scared the living hell out of me," said Nate. "I've never seen something like that before."

Nate, Alex, Dogmeat, and Suzy enter back inside Diamond City. They head on back to Valentine's Detective Agency. They just found Nick walking inside. The group heads on in with him.

"Ellie?" Nick called out. "Are you here?"

"Nick?" she asked. She comes out of the other room and sees him. "Oh God! It's really you!" She gives him a big hug. Nick smiles and hugs her back.

"Well, it's hard to mistake this mug for anyone else," he said.

"Hmph," she giggled. "You keep laughing at death, some day, death's going to be laughing back." Ellie lets go of him.

"Not as long as I got a few friends to back me up," Nick smiled, looking at Nate, Alex, Dogmeat, and Suzy. Ellie smiles and looks at Nate.

"You saved Nick, this agency, and my job," she smiled. "Thank you."

"Happy to do it," smiled Nate. "Couldn't have done it without my friends help."

"Yeah?" she asked. "You guys go diving into scary pre-war ruins all the time then, do ya?"

"All the time!" said Alex. Ellie smiles, then looks back at Nate.

"Here," she said. "Every cap we agreed to for finding him." Ellie gives Nate one hundred and twenty five bottlecaps.

"Thank you," smiled Nate. He looks at Alex and Suzy, then counts out his caps. "Here guys, you've earned your share."

"Oh thanks!" said Alex.

"Oh no, you don't have to," said Suzy. "Really."

"Come on, you've earned it," said Nate.

"Well, okay," she said. Nate gives each of them forty-one bottlecaps. Nick sits down in his seat. "All right," he said, "let's get down to business. Take a seat. Make yourselves comfortable."

Nate looks at Nick and nods. He sits down across from Nick's desk, facing him. Suzy and Alex stood next to Nate, and Dogmeat lays down next to him. Ellie stood next to Nick with a clipboard and a pencil.

"When you're trying to find someone who's gone missing," Nick began, "the devil is in the details. Tell me everything you can, no matter how...painful it might be."

"Take your time," said Ellie. Nate takes a deep breath, and begins talking.

"We were in a Vault when it happened," said Nate. "Vault 111. It was some kind of cryo facility."

"You were on ice, huh?" asked Nick. "More importantly, you were underground. Sealed up. That's a lot of obstacles to get through just to take one person."

"And my wife.....she was murdered..." Nate continued. "She was trying to keep them from taking Shaun and they....they just...." Nate could feel a tear going down his cheek. He quickly wipes it away.

"It's okay," said Ellie. "You don't need to say anything more."

"So we're talking about a group of cold-hearted killers," said Nick, "but they waited until something went wrong to resort the violence. Anything else you remembered?"

"There was a man, and there was a women in some sort of white suit," said Nate. "They didn't say much, but I remembered they called me 'the backup'."
