After successfully escaping the Glowing Sea, Nate finds a nearby Red Rocket station. He goes in and gets out of his power armor. He hooks it to a power armor station machine and fixes it up. Finding a box of Salisbury Steak and a bottle of Nuka Cola, he takes those to eat and drink.

He takes a Radaway to clear away some radiation from the Glowing Sea. Prepared to leave, Nate gets back inside his power armor. He hears gunfire coming from a long distance and a hovering. Could it be a squad of Brotherhood of Steel soldiers battling against something? Nate leaves the Red Rocket station to go check it out. He stumbles upon a battle between a few Brotherhood Knights and a dozen Institute synths. A Vertibird flies over and fires down at the reinforcements. Nate sees Casey in her Sentinel power armor shooting down at the synths with a minigun.

Nate runs in to join the fight and shoulder-tackles a synth to the ground. He fires one's Institute rifle out of its hands, then gets brought down by a laser blast. Nate rushes to the last one and punches its head, breaking so many of its head pieces off. The Knights raises their rifles and cheered for victory. The Vertibird lands and Casey jumps out. She takes her helmet off and wipes her forehead.

"Excellent shooting, Sentinel!" said one of the Brotherhood Knights.

"Yes, you did a very good job of disposing those abominations," said another.

"Thank you, gentlemen," she smiled. She looks over and sees Nate taking his helmet off. "Hey Nate! You're back from the Glowing Sea?"

"Yeah, and with very good information," he said. "I finally figured out how to get into the Institute, thanks to Doctor Virgil."

"Oh you have?" she asked. "What did he say?" Nate explains everything to her about the Molecular Relay the Institute uses to get in and out.

"So teleportation, huh?" asked Casey.

"Yeah," said Nate. "To get in, I'll need to find a courser. They're another one of the Institute's secrets. Their jobs are to hunt down missing synths, go if an operation goes wrong, things like that. They have a chip imbedded in them that I need to get in the Institute."

"Really?" she asked. "Well, Maxson's going to like hearing about this. Perhaps fuel him to stop the Institute. Other than that, where do you find one?"

"Well," said Nate, "I need to head to the CIT ruins and tune my Pip-Boy to the lower end of the band and listen to an interference. That way it'll give me a signal to find a nearby courser."

"Huh, I was just about to head over to those ruins, too," said Casey. "There's a little shop nearby. There's something I want to get out in there. Wanna head over there for a second, then I can help you track down this courser?"

"Sure thing," smiled Nate. Casey puts her Sentinel helmet back on and faces her Knights.

"Alright men," she said, "our business in this area is done. Pilot, take us to the CIT ruins."

"Yes, ma'am," said the pilot. Nate, Casey, and the Knights hop back in the Vertibird. The pilot starts up the engines and flies off.

Ten minutes later, the pilot lands in the CIT ruins. Nate and Casey hop off the Vertibird as it takes off once more. The two roam around until they find the shop where Casey wanted to go. She grabs the wooden boards nailed to the door and rips them off. She then kicks down the door and turns on a headlight from her helmet.

"What're we looking for, exactly?" asked Nate.

"You'll see," said Casey, smiling under her helmet. Nate looks around the shop, seeing some sparkling objects. He got a closer look only to find certain jewelry. Silver necklaces, golden watches, diamond earrings, and rings.
