Avery

It had been almost a week since 5SOS had come to the store and I still wasn't over it. My only regret was that I hadn't gotten a picture taken with any of them. I had been in so much shock and I had been so focused on making sure that I didn't freak in front of them, that I had completely forgotten to get a picture taken with them. I was still chewing myself out for that one.

"Still daydreaming about 5SOS?" Ragan said as she walked by me.

"No, just the fact that I forgot to get my picture taken with them. I still can't believe that."

"Neither can I. I mean when will you get another chance like that?"

"Wow, thanks for making me feel better." I said sarcastically.

"Sorry, but who knows. They said they would be back."

"Yeah, we'll see." I said.

Ragan went in the back and I stayed up front behind the counter. It was Carl's day off and Kevin was on a trip. He had almost passed out when we told him that 5SOS had come to the store and that they were going to be telling their friends. Yeah, he fangirled almost as much as I had, almost.

The store was dead, so I pulled out my phone and pressed the home button. I looked through my notifications and I honestly couldn't believe what I saw. My twitter had been blown up, by MIchael Clifford!

Not only had he followed me, but he had sent me like five messages.

@michael5SOS: Hey, is this Avery from the cool music store?

@michael5SOS: I wasn't stalking you, I just wanted to see if you had a twitter. That's not weird right?

@michael5SOS: Sorry if I'm spamming you, but I keep remembering things to say.

@michael5SOS: Also, if this is a different Avery, I'm sorry if I have disturbed you. I'm kind of a crazy person who has no life.

I just stared at the messages and smiled. He was so cute. But I was also shocked. It had been a week since they had been here and he had actually remembered me. I quickly looked up to make sure that no one was in the store and then I replied to him.

@avery_5sos: lol no you're good. And yes, I am the Avery from the music store. I'm surprised you actually remembered me!

I locked my phone, stuffed it back in my pocket and went back to work. A couple people had come into the store, so I really had to try and not get on my phone. But it was all I could do not to pull it out and look at it.

Ragan walked out from the back and I motioned for her to come over to me.

"What's up?" She asked.

"Michael followed me on Twitter."

Her eyes got big and her mouth dropped open.

"No way, are you serious?"

"Yep and that's not all. He messaged me too. Like five times, the boy has no chill."

"Dang, show me!" She said.

I turned around and pulled out my phone. I unlocked it and handed it to her, then I turned back around to help if a customer needed it.

Once I helped the customers, they left and she handed me back my phone.

"Wow, that's amazing! Especially that he remembered you."

"I know. That's the part that shocks me the most." I said.

"Maybe Mikey has a thing for you." She winked at me.

"Um no, I'm sure he just wants to be friends or something. I'm not going to overthink it, okay."

"Okay, well keep me posted about what he sends you and stuff."

I laughed at her.

"Don't worry, I will."

The rest of the day went by fairly quickly. We clocked out and locked up the store. We told each other bye and drove home.

Once I was home I FaceTimed Kat. We hadn't talked in a while and I wanted to tell her about the messages from Mikey.

"Oh my gosh are you serious?" She said after I told her.

"Yep. He hasn't answered back yet but I doubt he will."

"Oh don't say that. I'm sure he will. I mean he did message you first."

"True. We'll see." I said.

"What do you think your parents gonna say?"

"I don't know. I'm a little scared, maybe they'll be fine with it. Should I tell them?"

"I don't know. I mean I would, because I'd be so excited. But it's up to you."

"I probably will."

She had to go, so we hung up and then I got on tumblr and was scrolling through when suddenly my phone lit up. My heart jumped and I grabbed it. And just like I'd hoped, it was a message from Michael.

@michael5SOS: okay good. I was scared that it was the wrong person lol. So how are you?

I didn't know whether to reply right or to wait a little while, I didn't want to seem to eager but then again, if I didn't reply right away he might not see it for a while.

@avery_5SOS: I'm doing good. How are you?

Within a few minutes he had replied.

@michael5SOS: I'm good, tired. We've been going non stop and I'm wore out. I'm actually gonna get some sleep but I'll talk to you later.

@avery_5SOS: okay sounds good. Goodnight😊

He didn't answer and I guessed he had fallen asleep.

He said he would talk to me later. I don't know why but him talking to me meant so much to me. It was honestly all I had ever wanted and at this moment I couldn't have been any happier.

I honestly love how Avery is literally just like us, a normal fangirl who just wants to have some kind of relationship with the boys. Anyway hope y'all like this one.
