//I just lost my ability to breath\\
Michael
It was the last week of the tour and I was sad, but also happy. Sad because I would miss performing every night and seeing all of our fans. But I was happy, because I would get to go home and sleep for as long as I wanted, that's what I was looking forward to the most.
I was also happy because my fake relationship with Clair would be over after the tour. Her agent said we could break up because I wouldn't be doing much anyway and Clair needed to be with someone who was busy, apparently. I didn't understand all of the crap, I just did as I was told and tried not to get in trouble.
I was walking down the hallway when I heard Luke talking to someone. I didn't know who it was, until he said an all too familiar name, "Avery". I stopped and hid behind a door, so that he wouldn't see me. I know it was wrong, but I stayed there so I could listen to their conversation. I hadn't talked to her in months and I wanted to know how she was.
All I heard was Luke's side of the conversation, but he sounded happy, so I guess that was good. But I heard him say something about she and I getting back together. I had no idea how that was going to happen. I mean sure I still loved her and all, but as long as her dad was there, I couldn't go back. I couldn't put her and her family in danger like that.
He wasn't on the phone for very long, when he hung up. He walked back into the dressing room. I waited a minute or two and then I walked in. He and Calum were messing around and Ashton was filming them and putting it on Snap Chat. I wanted to ask Luke about his conversation with Avery, but I waited. I would ask him when we got back to the hotel.

Once the show was over and we were back at the hotel, I tried to find an opportunity to ask Luke about his phone call with Avery. But Calum and Ashton were always there, and I didn't want it to be awkward and ask him about it with them in the room, so I took Luke out of the room and asked him about it.
"Luke, I heard you talking to Avery on the phone earlier, before the show. Is she okay?"
"Yeah, she's good. Her dad left today. He moved to another town and told her he was going to start over, he realized that he had messed up and wants to get away and start fresh."
"Really?" I said.
"Yeah, really. She sounded so happy on the phone."
"That's great. I'm so happy for her." I said.
"Yep. She still loves you, you know."
"She does?"
"Bro, she's never stopped. All she does is ask about you when we talk. We usually talk once or twice a month. She's been hurting so much."
I know that I was the source of most of her pain. All I wanted was to pick up the pieces and make it all better. I wanted that more than anything.
"I know what I have to do." I said.
"What's that?" Luke asked.
"You'll see." I said, smiling.
I was going to fix everything, she was finally going to be happy and so was I.

"Do you really need to keep all of this?" Ragan asked.
"Yes I do. I use it all." I said.
"Okay." She rolled her eyes.
I was cleaning out my room, because I hadn't done it in a while. I had a ton of crap, and now that my dad was gone and starting fresh, I figured it was time I did too. I needed to move on, not only from him, but also from Michael. I had taken down all my 5SOS posters and put them in a box along with all the albums and shirts I owned.
Even though one of them had broken my heart, they were still my favorite band and one day, maybe I would be able to listen to them again. I just couldn't bring myself to throw away any of their stuff. I just couldn't do it.
"Are you keeping this?"
I turned around and saw that she was holding Michael's flannel. I know I was trying to move on, but I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of it. I shook my head.
"Throw it in the box." I said.
"Okay. You know that moving on from someone means to get rid of their stuff, right?"
"Look, I know. But I can't let go of it all just yet."
"Yeah, I get it." She said as she tossed the shirt in the box.
We went back to cleaning. I stumbled upon the book I had started. I flipped through the pages and then threw it in the box. Maybe one day I would be able to truly let go, but for right now I was fine with moving it all up to the attic, out of sight.
"Can we take a snack break?" Ragan asked.
"Yeah, I'm hungry too." I said.
We both ran downstairs and into the kitchen. I popped us some popcorn and Ragan got some soda out of the fridge.
"So are you gonna repaint your room too?" She asked.
"I was thinking about it. Maybe like an aqua blue?"
"That would be pretty. Will my services be needed?" She smiled.
"If you want to." I chuckled.
"Of course, I've got nothing better to do with my life."
"Great, we can start next week then."
"Sounds good to me." She said.
I took the popcorn out of the microwave and poured it into a bowl. I took a big handful out and stuffed in my mouth. Then the doorbell suddenly rang.
"Wonder who that could be." I said.
"Well go answer the door and find out."
"Gosh, someone is sassy." I said.
I walked to the door. I looked through the peep hole but all I saw was the person's hat. I couldn't tell who it was. So, I opened the door and when I saw who it was my mouth dropped open and I froze. The person was, Michael Clifford.
