"PIZZA IS HERE!!" Calum yelled down the hallway.
We all ran and each one of us grabbed a box or two. We were now in London and tonight was the first of three shows here. All of us were hanging out backstage before the boys went out. This was always my favorite time. We could just relax and chill, before they went out on stage.
Michael and I had really started getting closer in the past few weeks. He would always come by room to hang out. We always sat together whenever we rode anywhere and for once, I hadn't had any nightmares and I was the happiest that I had been in a while.
"So I vote we each get our own pizza." Michael said smiling.
"I don't know about that." Calum said. "What about Avery? She can't finish a whole pizza on her own."
"Excuse me?" I said. "Just watch me."
"Nope, not a good idea." Ashton said.
"Aww come on, Ash. Can't we have any fun?" I whined.
"Well not that kind of fun. And it's not because of you, it's because of me. You may think that you can finish a whole pizza, but I know that I can't."
We all laughed and agreed that it was a stupid idea, Michael pretended to be hurt, but even he couldn't keep from laughing.
Once we had finished eating, I grabbed my gear and went out to get a good spot so that I could get some good pictures. I had been out earlier, looking for some spots to get positioned in and I had found quite a few.
The arena was packed and there were more still coming in. It made me happy to see so many people coming out to see them, but I was also sad. I mean, the more famous they became, the harder it would be for them to have their own personal lives.
They were still able to go out and not get recognized easily, but who knew how long that would last. I just didn't want something like that make them want to quit. Because I had heard of that happening to some people and I didn't want it happening to them.
I sat down in my little corner and waited for the lights to get dim, which would be happening shortly. I loved the adrenaline before a concert. Everyone was talking and sounded so excited and you could just feel the energy radiating off of them.
Then it happened, it went dark and everyone screamed at the top of their lungs. The stage lights were the only lights on. The intro video started playing and the screams got even louder. I stood up and got my camera ready. I knew it would be a few minutes before the boys came out, but I got ready anyway.
The countdown started and the sound was almost deafening. I was smiling from ear to ear. I was close to the backstage gate and I saw the boys walking out from backstage and onto the stage. Michael saw me and he gave me a thumbs up as he walked up the stairs.
Ashton got on his drums and started banging them and then the other boys came running out. I started snapping pictures and even got some video too. Ragan had been harassing me for some good videos, so I took a break and started filming some.
When the show ended I took my final pictures and went backstage to wait for the boys, like I always did after a show. I sat on the couch and just looked through the pictures until they came back there. I heard them walking down the hallway, yelling as usual.
My phone starting ringing. I looked down to see who it was, it was from my mom, so I went into another room to answer it. I wanted to actually be able to hear her, and who knew what those four were bound to blurt out.
