It was just a normal day. I was working the front counter. Ragan was coming in later today, so it was just me and Carl for a little while. He was in the back, probably texting or something. That boy never worked.

I was stocking shelves and sorting through some of the vinyls. Since the article had come out in the Rolling Stone, we had been getting customers from all over. It had been crazy busy for a while too. It had just recently started to die down some.

All of the sudden the door to the shop burst open and someone was yelling my name.

"AVERY!! AVERY WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU?"

It was Ragan.

"I'm right here." I said as I rounded the corner, almost running into her.

She was breathing hard and her eyes were bugging out of her head, like she had just seen a ghost.

"Ragan are you okay?"

All she did was shake her head.

"What's wrong?"

"Okay, promise me you won't freak out?" She asked.

"Well I guess so. What is it?"

"5 Seconds of Summer are about to walk through that door."

She pointed to the door and I just laughed.

"Have you been drinking?" I asked.

"No, I swear. I literally saw them. I was just walking here from across the street where I parked my car and I saw them up the street. They were walking this way."

"Ray i think you're hair dye has draped through to your brain."

I walked back to the vinyls, with Ragan on my heels the whole time. Swearing up and down that she had seen 5SOS on the street.

Then the door opened. I looked over at Ragan, she looked back and then pointed behind me.

"It's them." She mouthed.

No, it couldn't be.

I slowly turned around. My heart literally stopped. I saw one of them. His back was to me, but I would recognize that tattered snap back anywhere and the red hair that was underneath it.

My heart started racing and I started breathing hard. Inside I was screaming and jumping up and down. But on the outside I was just staring, too scared to walk over. I literally couldn't move, and then Carl came out. He walked right up to them, like they were just normal customers.

Ragan and I just watched. Ashton shook his hand and then Luke. Calum and Michael were looking through some CDs. And then Carl pointed in my direction. He, Luke and Ashton started walking over to me.

I literally almost lost it, I don't know how I was staying so calm through all of this.

"Ragan, Avery, this is Luke and Ashton."

"I know." Ragan said.

I elbowed her in the side. She just gave me a death glare. I stuck out my hand to shake it.

"Nice to meet you." I said to them.

"Oh you must be a fan?" Ashton asked.

I looked at him puzzled but then I realized that I was wearing my 5sos lanyard across my neck. Darn it.

"Oh yeah, I am." I said.

"Cool. It's always nice to meet a fan." He said.

"She's been waiting for this moment for a while." Ragan said. "Like you guys are all she talks about."

Okay, she really needed to shut up.

"Ragan why don't you go in the back and check the stock." I said.

"But Carl was-"

"Ragan please." I said.

"Ugh fine."

I breathed a sigh of relief. Hopefully that would hold down on the embarrassment, at least for a little while. As long as Michael didn't walk over, we'd be good.

Yeah, no such luck.

I saw he and Calum make their way over to where we were standing. My eyes got bigger and I felt my heart speed up. I was telling myself to stay calm, but it was harder than I ever thought it would. Of all days he just had to wear a snap back.

"This is Calum and Michael," Ashton said, "But I guess you already knew that."

He smiled at me and I smiled back. He was so down to earth and it actually helped to calm me down some, well until Michael smiled at me and started talking, then my heart started racing again.

"Oh, are you fan?" He asked me.

"Yeah, I am." I answered, as calm as I could.

"Cool. It's always cool to meet a fan."

"Yeah! So what are you guys doing here?" I asked.

"Well," Michael said. "Ashton read about this place in an article and we had a few days off, so we wanted to come check it out. It's pretty cool."

"Yeah, I love working here." I said.

"Avery, why don't you give the guys a tour?" Carl said.

"Um yeah I guess so." I said, looking at the guys.

They all nodded in agreement and I lead them around the store. I showed them the vintage vinyls and albums, that was what they had really came to see. They knew almost every band that was sold. I hadn't even heard of most of them.

Michael got extremely excited over an album he found that was by some band I had never even heard of, but apparently he loved them.

He was legit fangirling over it and it was the cutest thing I had ever seen. I didn't know it was possible to fall in love with someone any deeper, but I know that in that moment, I had.

They all bought an album each and then walked to the front to pay. Calum and Michel were goofing off, as usual.

"Well it was really nice to meet you." Ashton said. "It's always nice to meet a fan."

"It was nice to meet you guys too." I said.

"We'll definitely be telling our friends about this store." Michael said.

"Oh awesome. Kevin will love that." Ragan said.

"Kevin is the owner of the store." I explained.

"Well be sure to tell him that we love it and we'll be back for sure." Ash said.

And I'd be lying if I didn't say I got really excited when he said that. The possibility of seeing them again in person? Heck yeah I was excited.

They said bye and left. I watched them walk up the street, until they weren't visible anymore. I turned to Ragan and my mouth dropped open.

"Did that seriously just happen?" I said.

"Yeah, it seriously did. I'm shocked myself."

I walked back behind the counter and leaned against it. I still couldn't believe that had happened and that I had actually met them. But the thing that shocked me the most was the fact that I had remained calm the whole time and the fact that I had somehow fallen even more in love with Michael Gordon Clifford.

Yeah, even I didn't know that was possible.
