Nick's office was the same every morning. He was always the first one there, he did his work and just hope to leave early without the chances of bumping into his dad.
People started coming in by 8:00, his assistant arrives only half an hour after him. He was understandable with the traffic that goes on in New York, he couldn't blame his employees but the traffic that goes on.
He worked away as his mind goes back to Samantha. The pictures on his desk just irritated him on how much he missed her. He sighed and picked up a file and started documenting it.

Meanwhile, Selena was at the studio rehearsing. The choreographer got them to run over some hip hop moves before getting into their actual routine. Selena's crew rehearsed all morning until 10 when they had a break.
It was two hours straight, although the girls that were here before Selena were used to it, they still feel weak with their stomachs. Selena gave one of them a nutrition bar, she always kept one in her bag for cases like now.
She just drank water to sustain herself. Miley walked over in her sweat pants and crop top, she sat down next to Selena, letting her strawberry blonde hair fall to her sides.
Selena was on the floor stretching, even on break she constantly want to keep up with her dance mates. Miley chuckles as she watched Selena push herself.
"Sel take a break," Miley warned her, "It's just a rehearsal, don't force yourself like that."
"I'm not, I just want to perfect it on the floor," although she was honest, she knew deep down she was pushing herself too hard.
Miley ignored her, "Wanna get a bite to eat before we leave."
Which was next break, Selena wasn't too sure but she smile and shrugged it, "Sure, where at."
"There's a great latte place down the blocks, they have amazing coffee and definitely desirable sandwiches," Miley gave a faint sigh at the thought of food. It made Selena giggle her expression was priceless, of how much she yearned for the food.
Their 15 minute break was over, and everyone was back on the floor. The choreographer put in the CD that was on replay and kept them dancing for another two hours. The girls were almost sweating like meatballs, when it the clock struck 12.
Miley was eager to leave, once he clapped his hands together calling it a day, Miley ran to her gym bag and picked it up. Selena was slower, she walked instead.
Miley dragged her out after Selena finished getting some tips from the choreographer. Selena laughed so hard she barely caught her breath, Miley giggles too.
But when they got outside the summer air hit them making them want to go back in for the AC. They do have to look forward to the fall that was coming. Because they weren't a fan of the heat at all.
Miley had a very nice Mercedes her boyfriend got her for their anniversary gift. She tossed her bag to the back and had Selena on shot gun. They got in and she drove to the coffee shop.
The cafe was very vintage, the walls were escalated with black and white pictures. The flooring was coated with a light brown wood, even their chairs were wooden. Both ordered something not too big, the waiters came back with a coffee for Miley and a glass of lemon water for Selena.
"Besides partying all day and night and going back to the club, what else do you do?" Miley asked Selena, out of thin air.
Selena bobble her head up with a grin rounding her lips, "Well I go home and sleep."
"You so don't," Miley giggles with a hypergenic tone, she sways in her chair exposing the charged up energy in her, "You seem busy, all the time. At break you're either just stretching or you're on your mac, what's up with that?"
"Shopping," Selena lied, she picked up the menu to look at the food served at the cafe, in order to hide the face that couldn't tell a lie.
Miley hollered a laugh loud enough for their neighboring tables to hear.
Selena's eyes widen a bit with a small frighten look. She was in dismay of how she reacted. She gave an apologetic smile to the people that looked at them.
"You? Shopping," Miley starts giggling non-stop again, "You're just not the type, no offense, but all of us here... we can't even afford a Louis Vuitton."
