The day broke with Nick's alarm pounding on the nightstand. Breakfast was always early for his family, they were suppose to meet up at 9AM. Nick jumped into the shower to freshen up, after he came out Selena was still in her room.
"God, I totally forgot," he cursed himself for forgetting to wake her up. He knocked on the door, with no patience of waiting, Nick opened the door for himself. There stood Selena half naked in her bra and panties.
When she heard the door fling open, she spun around and covered herself with a shriek. "Nick what the hell?!"
"Oh my God, I'm sorry," he closed it quickly, his heart was racing really fast. From the other side of the door he started to apologize, "I thought you were still sleeping so I- I'm sorry."
After a few minutes of silence, he heard the knob turn and Selena came back out in a beautiful yellow sundress.
"It's okay," she grinned and walked to the bathroom to fix her hair a little, "Look I'm not big on fancy occasions and this is one of the best dresses I can pull off."
Nick just watched her run around the room like a tornado, he was in awe of her. She looked really pretty too.
"You look beautiful," finally he said with a cheeky smile.
Selena giggles while twirling for him, she links arms with him. "Let's do this Jonas."
Nick chuckles and gets his keys and phone before locking the door. They looked like an actual couple, although Nick was just introducing Selena as a good friend.
When they arrived at the fancy country club that was a one hour drive from there, Selena just gawked at the beauty of the place. The grass was really green, although she figures it has to be that green, it was probably fake just for the guests.
"Are you coming?" Nick was standing by the automatic doors for the entrance to the lobby, while she was still admiring every bit of it.
"Yes," she was glad she didn't have to wear heals. She walked over to him and linked arms with him as they entered the restaurant.
Nick went up to a waiter, "reserved for Jonas?"
"Right this way," the waiter guided them to the patio deck, where it gave all the view Selena wanted to see. The beautiful greeness of the golf range and the mountains and trees. She was so caught up with the scenery, she barely even heard Nick's mom say hi to her.
They were standing at the end of the long table, everyone was seated, Nick's parents and brothers, and his sister in law, Danielle. Selena just smiled while Nick explained.
He went over to hug his mom and trading kisses on the cheek.
"Mom, dad, this is Selena, she's my new roommate and I've decided to invite her for breakfast," Nick explained, Selena just smiled.
"Hi, it's nice to meet you Mrs. Jonas," Selena smiles at her reaching out.
Mrs. Jonas was farely friendly, she was elegant but very sweet. She smiled and pulled Selena in for a hug, "Hi Selena, its great to meet you."
"Haha..." Selena giggles, pulling away and turns to Mr. Jonas. She was about to introduce herself, but his frightening stern look scared her. He sat on the end of the table next to his wife and one of Nick's brother.
His mother just smiled at Selena apologetically, "I'm sorry, Paul is always uptight."
"Hi Mr. Jonas," Selena smiles and reaches her hand out, hoping he wouldn't scare her.
Nick shook his head, embarrassed by his father. He opened his mouth about to say something to his father, but then Mr. Jonas stood up and shook Selena's hand.
"It's great to meet you Selena, please, join us," Mr. Jonas finally said, he forced a small.
"It's nice meeting you too," Selena smiles politely, Nick and her take a seat next to Joe and right across from Danielle and Kevin.
Their food started to come as conversations began.
"Hi I'm Danielle, you can call me Dani, I'm Kevin's wife," the Italian brunnette greeted her from across table, she was friendly and Selena could tell they would already have a great bond going on.
Selena smiled and nodded.
"Hi, real nice meeting you, I'm Kevin, oldest brother," the man across Nick said, he had curly hair but it wasn't as messy as Nick. It was more gelled. But he was friendly like his wife.
She felt a tap on her back, she turns to the left side, but then back to her right. Joe gave her a goofy smile, "And I'm Joe, Nick's older brother. The best one of them all."
Selena giggles and nods, "Well you all know my name now."
Every around the table starts laughing at her point there.
