Selena went back to the studio and asked for the afternoon off. Nick went to get his car and drove her to the hotel to get her stuff and checkout. She wasn't so sure on it either, but with what nanna tells her about Nick, she trusted what nanna said and just hoped for the best.
When they entered his lobby at the apartment, Selena was in total awe. She knew his family was wealthy and all, but she was amazed to where he lived.
It looked like one of those business buildings where you enter, theirs the security and the comfy couches. Nick's apartment lobby was lit up with chandeliers. She looked at it in amazement. The windows were all made of glass, and above all the whole room was made of a vanilla coloured marble.
The couches were very modernized to suit the environment. There were fancy leather square and rectangular couches.
She felt bad for having to roll her luggage on the shiny waxed floor. Even the elevator was fancy. They went up to his floor, which was one fo the highest.
This was the type of home she didn't want to leave, Nick's flat was modernize but with a touch of family warmth. Something Selena yearned for in a home.
Although Nick's home was very masculin with choice of furniture. His leather black couches were modern and suited the glass coffee table. Everything was simple and it was spacious.
His house was now cleaned. Nick felt a little nervous to invite her in at first, he wasn't sure if Samantha really left. But he guessed she must've, all the clothes were cleared and he didn't see her run out.
He lead her down the hall, across his room was a guest room.
"Okay so I haven't touched this room for a while, if you need anything just call. And feel free to use the dresser and stuff, I'm sure it'll take you a little longer than a month or so to find your friend?" Nick smiles at her with a warm clue on the eyes.
"You know you don't have to do this?" she giggles, feeling thankful.
"Well you brought me to Joe's and supposedly I puked on you," he jokes, stepping out, "Here you can start settling in and I'll leave you to it."
Selena giggles and waves him out before he walks out closing the door. She falls down onto the soft matress with smiles on her face.
She started unpacking after a while. She didn't really have much to unload, because she didn't have that much except for the basics. She packed her duffle bag and got ready to leave to the studio.
Nick caught her just before she left, he was by the couch multitaskng with work and watching football.
"Hey you going out?" Nick turned to her, she stops by the couch dropping her duffle bag on the couch. She walked makeup less and her hair was tied up into a pony tail. Once again she was in a crop top and loose sweat pants.
"Yea, I need to get back to start hair and makeup, you should drop by sometime," she said with a merry smile on her face.
"I wish," Nick whined, he placed the laptop on the coffee table, "I got all these files to get through, but maybe sometime around 9?"
He was hopeful she would still be there at that time. Although he figures he'll be able to see her other times.
"Perfect, or drop by on any Wednesday through Friday," she grins, "well I'm out, you want me to bring some pizza or take out home?"
"Nah, I think I have some left overs," Nick shrugs it off.
"Cool, catcha later," she turns to the door and closes it on her way out.
She was just hoping he would be home to open the door.
