chapter 12 : stuck on him

Is it wrong to think about someone when you are actually in a fancy restaurant eating the most delicious salmon and  sitting with a really nice and funny guy, it’s not. Right ?

“what do you think about the restaurant ?” lucas asked me with a small grin.

“ it’s really nice “ I replied taking the biggest bite ever, I’m not that shy girl when it comes to food especially this delicious salmon. Well except when I ate with Adem ,I took a bite every ten seconds. Okay sof get him out of your head right now ,this nice guy over here is trying his best to please you and you can’t stop thinking about adem for a second,focus with him , you have to make an effort.

‘It’s the most awkward date that I’ve ever been to , I’m not usually like this “ he interrupted my thoughts trying not to meet my gaze.

“ haha so you are nervous? “ I teased him trying to clear up the mood a little bit, “ I didn’t say that plus you are the one who makes this really awkward because you’ve barely said two words since we came” his cheeks turned into a slight pink right now.

“how about we ask different questions in order to get to know each other “ I suggested giving him a soft grin to make him comfortable , “ you can go first “.

“ Do I know him ?” he questioned looking straight into my eyes , “ who are you talking about ?” I returned his question with another one knowing exactly what he was talking about , “ you know exactly what I’m talking about , but let’s make it more clear , do I know the guy who broke you heart and made you like this ?” he tried to speak slowly so I can understand every single word.

“you really want to investigate about this part of my life , don’t you ? it’s kind of rude to ask but you don’t know him” I replied trying my best to make him believe what I said , I can’t just tell him I’m in love with his teammate , what am I supposed to say umm lucas break news I’m in love with your teemmate and the best part os that he doesn’t love me back!( I promised myself not to use the word love ever again).

“ are you that kind of guys ? you know the one who acts nice and gentle at the beginning in order to have what he wants from girls” I questioned with a slight anger in my tone even though I already know the answer.

“ first of all I can’t get that low, second girls run after me  so I don’t do anything to impress them “  I swear that I’m going to kill him if he doesn’t stop giving that stupid smirk .and that big ego I mean dude get down to earth a little would ya! I said to my self with disappointment all over my face

“ okay “ was all what I said.

“ why did you eventually accept to go out with me ?” he asked finishing his food, “ because you are so annoying and it was the only wat to shut you up “ I teased him putting one of his smirks .

“ haha you are so funny, one point for you” he said while trying to hide his laugh,  “ so tell me Lucas , why have you been so annoying about it ?” I joked again waiting for dessert.

“because I thaught you are special and I am actually right” his features were so serious and his beautiful dark eyes were searching for any reaction of mine.’and the fact that you didn’t chase me around like all of those girls made me confirm that you’re different, you’re special in a way I can’t describe and that’s what I love about you’’OMG did he say LOVE ??!! I just despise that word.

“ point for you MR player , you are a pretty good liar and I almost fell for that “ I teased him , well I really wanted to believe him because he sounded so sincere and honest about it, but I have to stay strong and not fall for it , I should never make the same mistake I made with adem . I’m not the weak girl who believes every single word she’s told.
