Chapter 11: Missing Syn

Roanna's PoV

"Impossible! Paanong siya ang nanalo?!" I shrieked at saka ako napatayo. I don't understand why this thing is even happening. Nakakunot ang noo ko habang nakitingin sa bruhildang Chelsea na 'yan, still contemplating how did she win. Like, how?

I saw how Syndrie did well in this competition. We were positive enough to think that Syndrie will win and it is indeed disappointing how the event suddenly turned like this.

"Will you just calm down?" Viex asked in a demanding tone. Tinignan ko siya as I am just about to say no but he cuts me off in mid-sentence. "Just sit down, Roanna. The King is looking at our direction," he whispered.

Napatingin naman ako sa daddy ni Zeira and Viex's right, he's looking at us na parang ang weird ko but that doesn't make me stop.

"But did you-- Fine!" Okay, well. Sabi ko nga uupo nalang ako kesa naman tignan ako ng masama ng love ko diba? I know it is indeed better to shut up sometimes! Naupo nalang ako at sumandal kay Viex habang nakapulupot ang kamay ko sa braso niya. "Hindi ko ma-gets kung saan nagkulang si Syndrie." Bulong ko sa kanya na may halo pa ring inis.

He sighed but I felt him nodding. "Same here. But you know that we can't do anything about it. A competition was conducted and we can't just be biased because we want Syndrie to win."

I pout. "Whatever."

Napatingin ako sa gitna ng Coliseum of Magic nang bumalik na ito sa dati nitong itsura. Inaasikaso rin si Chelsea ng ibang elves para gamutin like what they did sa mga nauna pang natalo sa laban. After that, she walked towards us while smiling widely knowing that she won the title of being a Leader. Rinig rin ang pag-chi-cheer ng ibang Welshes sa kanya.

King Arcanus stood up holding a wooden broomstick on his hand. It was a unique broomstick na halatang gamit ng mga malalakas na Witches. Maybe it was personally made for the next leader of the Witches and Warlocks.

Nang tuluyan nang makalapit si Chelsea sa elevated flatform na kinauupuan namin ay yumuko siya.

"Congratulations... Witches Leader Chelsea Bright." King Arcanus said while handling her the broomstick.

Parang kuminang naman ang mata ng malandi at marahang kinuha 'yong broomstick. "Malugod ko pong tinatanggap ang posisyong ito, King Arcanus." She then bowed her head again. Biglang umilaw ng sobrang liwanag yung broomstick niya at biglang naglaho. Signaling that she is now the Leader of the Witches and Warlocks.

Napatayo ang lahat at nagsipalakpakan, pwera sakin syempre. Like I'm going to be happy about her being the new leader in exchange to Jae Kyline. I'm still bitter!

Mishie's PoV

"Sigurado ba kayong hindi niyo siya nagamot?" Riley asked looking all worried about Syndrie. Same goes with me. Simula kasi nang natapos 'yong laban, hindi pa namin nakikita si Syn and that's just impossible. Sigurado akong pagod siya dahil sa nangyari and the first thing na dapat niyang daanan after the competition will be the elves na naka-standby sa corner ng field.

Actually, it's been an hour since the competition has ended pero hindi pa rin siya nagpapakita samin kaya we have decided to ask the elves. Mas lalo pa kaming nagtakha when they told us na hindi nila siya nagamot.

"Sorry. Hindi po talaga namin siya nagamot." The other elf said before leaving.

Napatingin ako kay Exl nang bigla nalang sipain ni Riley 'yong bench na nasa gilid namin causing for it para masira.

"Dude, huminahon ka nga." Pigil sa kanya ni Winston. Silang mga Wolves at si Nijel lang ang kasama ko dahil magkakasama pa yung mga Leaders sa ngayon welcoming Chelsea as one of them so I definitely know na hindi pa nila alam ang nangyayari dito.
