"Amanda," a voice says. "Amanda wake up." I open my eyes and see Derik hovering over me. He is sitting on my hips and shaking my shoulders.

He thinks that you are a whore.
He thinks that you are slut.

"I'm sorry Amanda," Derik says. "I didn't want to get you drunk, and try to have sex with you. That wasn't my intention at all."

"What was?" The words fall out of my mouth before I can stop them.

"I've been wanting to ask you out for awhile," he says leaning down. "You are the whole reason I threw this party. I hoped that you would come."

I shiver and close my eyes. This isn't real. This isn't happening. This is a dream. I feel Derik's lips on my neck, and I gasp. He hit my sweet spot.

"Do you want to go out next Friday? On a real date?" He whispers against my neck, and I can feel his hot breath on my skin, making me shiver even more.

"Yes," I whisper and he gets off of me. "I didn't hurt you did I?" Derik asks as he puts back on his shirt, which is a shame. I sit up and shake my head.

I notice sunlight pouring in through the window and jump up. "What time is it!?" I exclaim. "Eight, around nine," Derik says. "Want me to drive you home?"

I almost forgot that Derik is senior, but he isn't a jerk. He lets almost everyone come to his parties, including uncool freshmen like me. I can feel myself blushing. "Yes," I say looking at him. "Thank you."

We get in Derik's truck and pull out onto the road. I give directions to my house and Derik starts driving. Derik smiles over at me.

"What?" I ask looking at him. "You should dress like that more often," he says, and I swear I can see him blushing. I know that I'm blushing like crazy. I bite my lip and look out the window.

"Are you a virgin?" Derik asks, and I can feel myself blushing even more. "Yes," I say quietly. "I am."

I can feel his eyes, glancing over me. I shiver and bite down hard on my bottom lip. I can feel my whole body tense. Derik and I say nothing as he drives me to my house. I tell him to park around the corner and he does.

"See you Friday!" I say grabbing my purse, and jumping out of the car. I slam the door shut and run up to my house. I climb back in my window and shut it behind me. I collapse on the bed and breathe heavily.

Before I have time to do anything else, my eyes shut and get pulled back to the endless darkness of sleep.
