Chapter Twenty Two

(??? P.O.V)

I watched him closely from the trees. He looked so peaceful in his sleep, except when she slept next to him. I will get him. Maybe not today. Nor tomorrow, but someday he will be mine. I chuckled my evil laugh.

"Time to go." Someone cooed in my ear. I turned and smiled when I saw who it was, "Of course." I smirked. We smiled then jumped from the tree, landing safely on the forest floor below. We quickly ran to the nearest store, which was about a block or so up the road. We were sure to run into them here.

A tug on my shirt caught my attention. I turned and saw a Z heading towards us. I thanked my partner and took out my machete. I swung and the head flew clean off, "Sometimes I'm glad this was a gift, Other times I wish I could burn it." I said. "I know what you mean...I hate her so much, she ruined my life." She responded.

"I'm glad we ran into each other again. I've missed you."

"And so have I." We smiled wickedly and headed into the store.

(Fox P.O.V)

I awoke in 10K's arms. I love the fact that he's always here for me. I just can't get over the fact that he loves me and no one else. I smiled up at his raven hair, and his palish complexion. He was perfect in every way. I smiled to myself and nuzzled into his chest. He stirred a bit but soon rested.

The sun began to rise as the truck bounced down the road. The truck had stopped at night so Warren could sleep. I woke up so much in the middle of the night, I just felt like someone was watching me. I could have even swore I heard voices coming from the trees. Most likely my imagination tricking me as usual.

I shielded my eyes form the now bright sun, everyone should be awake soon. I loved how the wind just caressed me as we drove down the cracked and dirtied road. I still remember when I was younger and my Mum, Brother, and I would take road trips. I sighed at the thought of them. They were my everything.

A small tear trickled down my cheek at the thought of them. I was startled when a thumb wiped it away without warning. I jumped a bit and looked to 10K who had a goofy smile on his face. "Why are you looking at me like that?" I questioned. He glanced down at my shirt then back up at me, "Pull up your shirt." He chuckled. I looked at him confused then looked down at my shirt. Sure enough some of my cleavage was showing. "Why you lookin' there." I whined as I pulled up my shirt. He chuckled then put his arm around my shoulder.

"Hmm...now I kinda wish you left it down a smidge." He said. My jaw dropped and I playfully hit his arm, "Aren't you a little pervert this morning." I said shocked. "I'm just kidding!" He laughed out. "Mmhmm..." I playfully rolled my eyes. 10K chuckled and pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back. "There aren't many beautiful things left in the world." He cooed into my ear. I smiled, I loved when he said that. It's honestly my favorite phrase now.

The truck pulled to a stop in front of a house, a couple blocks down looked to be a store. "Alright love birds, get out." I heard Addy joke. "I should be telling you the same thing, you have no idea what I heard in the last house we stayed in." I joked. Addy looked at me and playfully smacked my arm then looked to Mach, "I told you to be quiet." She joked. I laughed while Mach just rolled his eyes, "Your the noisy one in the relationship. Have you heard yourself snore." Mach joked. Addy playfully glared at him before being wrapped in a hug. I looked to 10K who snickered at the couple. I found myself chuckling a little bit too.

Warren lead everyone onto the front porch and began to Pound down the door. It was a nice house, simple, but still nice. Warren couldn't get the door down and frowned, "I can't get it open." She whined. I sighed and stepped up to the door, "Sweet heart don't even try if I can't get it then yo-" Warren was cut off my the sound of the door being popped open. I smirked at her as I pulled my katana from the doors hinges.

Warren muttered something under her breath but I didn't hear, all I know is that it was bad because 10K glared at her. I chuckled a bit as I stepped closer to him. Warren was the first to enter the tiny house, "Clear!" She yelled. "I'm checking up stairs!" Addy yelled with Mach right on her heels. I rolled my eyes and laughed. 10K chuckled and walked inside.

It was a nice house, modern, untouched in a way. The wall paper reminded me of my grandma, "Looks like a crazy cat lady lived her." Murphy said, scrunching his face. I chuckled and bit and sat down on the couch. "Clear!" We heard Addy's muffled voice from upstairs. 10K and I looked at each other and laughed. "Who ever thought those two would actually hit it off." Doc said. I smiled like an idiot at his comment, I have no clue what I would do without this group.

Warren emerged from the stairs, I honestly didn't even know she was up there. "There's one room left." She said. 10K and I looked at each other before running up the stairs. I made it to the door first and swung it open, when I did that 10K snuck by me and plopped into the bed, "No fair!" I pouted. 10K smiled and pat the spot next to him, "We've shared in the past." He cooed. I playfully rolled my eyes and hopped in next to him.

"No funny business! Your only sixteen Fox! Remember that!" I heard Warren from downstairs. I giggled and huddled closer to 10K. He smiled goofily, "You heard her, I'm only sixteen and your eighteen. You pervert." I said playfully. 10K pouted and crossed his arms. I laughed then pecked the tip of his nose, he smiled and pecked my lips. "I love you." He cooed, "I love you too." I responded.

I looked at 10K's face and saw it brighten, "You won't be sixteen much longer though." He said. I looked at him weirdly but then remembered. November eleventh is my birthday, "Yea your right...what day is it anyways?" I asked. "November tenth." Tommy said, "Your kidding..." I said. "Nope!" He sang. I raised my eyebrow at him and he laughed, "What? A guy can't sing?" He cooed. "I never said that." I lowly chuckled.

10K smiled at me, "Okay, okay." He said then kissed my forehead. I smiled and leaned in, he leaned in too. I reached behind him and turned off the flash light that was providing some light, "Good night." I said. "You tease." He joking said. "As always!" I chirped and cuddled into his chest.

"Good night." He whispered in my ear.

"Good night." I responded.

That night the same lines kept appearing in my head over and over again,
