I started going to work with Cal more often. We still had to keep up the facade that I was interested in business. I didn't go everyday, but I had to go pretty often. Cal was just as suspicious as me about Noah. He made multiple comments on the way he stared at me.

I had to get more nice pants and shirts to wear to work with Cal. I also got more ties, which I didn't like wearing, but Cal said they looked nice on me.

We've had two long weeks of Cal working and me sitting in his office playing games or drawing. It was finally the weekend, and Nick had invited us out to lunch with him and his fiancée, Trinity. Apparently, Cal had been good friends with both of them for years and knew Trinity as well as he knew Nick. Cal was also supposed to be Nick's best man (which he was excited for even if he didn't admit it).

It was hot outside today, so I wore some shorts instead of my usual attire of sweatpants. I was very glad I did so when we were walking down the streets and I could feel the sun beating down on me. Apparently we were going out for pizza, which I have only had one time before (Cal ordered some for lunch in the office).

I seemed to be hot and sweaty pretty fast, but Cal still looked as perfect as he did when he walked out the door. I groaned and he gave me a curious look, but I didn't say anything. We eventually made it to the pizza shop, I felt like I was in heaven as soon as Cal opened the door and the seemed to be a gust of wind when walking in.

We could immediately see Nick and some woman with very dark hair and eyes sitting next to him. Nick and the woman stood up when they saw we arrived. Nick and Cal exchanged a hug before Cal and the woman did the same. I was surprised when Nick pulled me into a light embrace as well.

"I got to hug my future brother-in-law, don't look so surprised," Nick whispered to me with a smile. My face heated up and I punched his arm. He laughed as we all sat down in the booths. Cal saw my face and asked what was wrong, I told him it was nothing.

"Trinity, this is Rory, Cal's new roommate. Rory, this is my fiancée, Trinity," Nick introduced us with gestures. I smiled and shook Trinity's hand when she reached out, she gave me a polite smile as well. I could see now that she was at least partially Asian.

"It's nice to meet you," I told Trinity in a shy voice.

"You too," she replied in a sweet voice. Trinity threw her hair over her shoulder which I just now noticed is very long. I couldn't see, but it looked like it was touching the seat from how long it was. She sat up straight with her hands folded on the table naturally. It looked like she just automatically sat in this position.

"Are you guys excited?" Cal asked them before picking up a menu.

"Very," Trinity answered. Nick nodded in agreement before looking at her. I would've let out an "Aw" if I didn't deem it inappropriate. While around Trinity, Nick still managed to be his goofy self, but managed to show a lot of love in his eyes. Trinity laid her head on Nick's shoulder, I wanted to take a picture but just admired them instead.

"Glad, I knew from the very beginning you guys would end up together." Nick rolled his eyes.

"You did not, because you thought I was too childish."

"You were," Cal admitted. "But I still knew you would end up together. It was because of my doing anyways."

"You're doing? What exactly did you do?" Nick and Cal looked like they were going to spark up another debate between them, but Trinity sensed this as well and stopped it.

"Don't start, guys. Cal, what are you trying to prove?" Trinity asked in a fake annoyed voice.

"Just saying 'I told you so,'" Cal said with a smirk. He seemed satisfied when she laughed and shook her head. They continued to catch up for a few minutes while I just tuned into the conversation. Cal ordered a pizza for both of us, and Nick did the same for Trinity and himself. Afterwards, Trinity turned the attention towards me.
