Edward readied himself to blabber on about how rude you were for shoving him out of the room like that just now, but instead he found himself just smiling at the door for a few moment. Edward turns to make his way towards his room, once there he lets himself in. Edward plops onto the bed immediately, just to realize he is more full of thought than he thought. Edward isn't sure of what he was feeling right now, but he knows this is something new. Upon going through and analyzing a lot of his thoughts, He came up to a few conclusions, he likes your sassiness, your humor, the caring side of you, and even simply just your smile in general. These thoughts cause him to throw a fit in his own mind for a moment, but Edward finally realized that he doesn't want to fight these feelings, he sees no real reason too. Edward sums it all up as, he just really enjoys your company, and by your side he would like to often be, Edward slowly began dozing off.

Sunlight pours into your room kissing your skin until it awakens you. You immediately bolt upwards, wondering what today had in store for you. Would the brothers want to go off to central now? Or maybe we were going to stay another night in Resembool.. Knowing Edward, He probably still wants to get back to central as soon as he can. Going to Central probably means we go our separate paths. What stings more, going separate ways, or the fact that going separate ways would be no big deal for Edward? You try to figure out which choice would be the most grown up of the two options to pick, but you cant figure it out. Noticing you were over thinking things that you cannot control, you quickly shake it off, then begin to focus on getting dressed.

"I really cant pack.." you mumble and chuckle at yourself,

looking into your less than neatly packed bag.

You packed your bag at home in an excited rush, not taking into consideration that some things just don't really match. Nonetheless it didn't really matter, you could make most of the articles of clothing work. Once dressed you head down the halls and down the stairs. You find Alphonse, Winry, and a little old lady you hadn't met yet.

"Granny this is (y/n)! She's a friend of Ed and Al's!" Winry said pointing to you as you sat down.

"I'm pinako, how are you doing?" Pinako asks, with a grin and a pipe to her mouth.

"Fine, thank you. You have a lovely home." You say, smiling with your eyes closed.

"Thank you dear. Winry go fetch Ed for breakfast." pinako says.

"Kay!" Winry says more excited now.

"So (y/n), how'd you sleep?" Alphonse asks sweetly.

"Fine. What do you want to do today Al?" you ask smiling.

"I'm not sure, we have to ask brother, I think the Colonel wanted us to return to central as soon as possible." Alphonse responds.

"Oh right.." you say turning your gaze to your lap.

"You alright (y/n)?" Al asks

"Well, yeah, but doesn't dropping me off at central mean goodbye?" you ask looking up to him again.

"No! I mean, well we would see you again, I'm sure of it!" Al says, trying to cheer you up.

"Yeah you're probably right." you respond a little happier.

"You know you could try acting like a lady every once in a while!" Edward screams jolting down the stairs.

"I have more than one wrench you know!" Winry yells from the top of the stairs.

"Stop throwing things!" Edward screams after turning around to face her.

"Brother what are you doing now?" Al asks.

"What am I doing? What about her, she's the crazy one here?" Edward says all worked up.

"Brother, you know Winry has her reasons for when she is being hard on you!" Alphonse says reassured.

"Your against me too Al?" Edward says hopelessly.

"Don't be over dramatic brother." Al says sighing.

"Morning granny, morning (y/n)." Edward says smiling at you the whole time.

"Yo." you simply say looking away from him.

"Get some food Ed, you need to grow." Pinako says, from across the far end of the table.

"Why is everyone picking on me today?" Edward says, scratching both sides of his head.

"Brother she didn't say anything not true, stop being insecure." Al says, trying to reassure his brother.

"I AM NOT!" Edward shouts.

"You sure do cause havoc around here Ed." Winry says sitting down.

"And you dont?" Edward says back.

"So Winry, is making automail difficult?" you ask changing the subject.

"Not when you have as much experience as me, But it can take a lot of time and effort none the less." Winry responds happily.

"You seem to be really good at it!" you say back.

"I try!" Winry says with a grin.

"We should get going." Edward says a

lmost scarfing his food down.

"I'm not done eating yet." you say pointing done to your plate.

"I was just saying." Edward says

rolling his eyes at your comment.

"Ed could you by any chance, go grab my bag from upstairs for me?" you ask Edward.

"Uh sure, why not?" Edward says leaving his chair and heading towards the stairs.

Edward makes it to your room and looks around for your suitcase. He sees it on the floor and notices some of the continents are scattered around on the floor.

"Isn't she delightfully neat?" Edward mumbles to himself sarcastically.

Edward takes a handful of your belongings in between his fingers, then proceeds to drop the articles of clothing into your suitcase. Edward slows down his process of moving your things from the ground and into the suitcase, when he notices a picture on the ground, that had been under some of the clothes that he had just moved. Upon looking at it for a few moments, he could clearly and obviously identify You, then your dad, though there was a woman, a woman he hadn't met before when he and Alphons E went you your house. Who was this woman in the picture he h

ad just discovered?

"Could this be her mother? I wonder where she was..." Edward mumbles as he finds himself in a new found deep thought. He then neatly throws the rest of your belongings into your bag before heading back downstairs. Edward knew he wanted to ask about the picture then and now, but he decided after a few moments of thought, it would be better to wait, the three of you had to make it to the train soon, or else you would probably miss it.
