"How much longer?" Edward asks in his usual drawn out and displeased way.
"Not much longer boy." The General says, not wavering I'm his speed at the blonde's words.
"Good to know." Edward says almost sarcastically.
"Be patient alchemist, we should be nearing the door rather soon." The General replies.
Just as the General had said this, Edward can make out a small navy blue door. The sight was enough to throw Edward over the edge, he can't wait to see what they know about the philosophers stone. Edward had been so excited to find more information about the stone, that he never stopped to think about what evil could be clouding these men's plans.

"I think we have guests." you say to the General, you stand there pointing to the other door being obviously unlocked and tampered with.
"What?" The General says, quickly shooting his eyes to the door as it begins to open.
"Ah! Hello sir, I became acquainted with an alchemist who was more than happy to check out our research." The other General says as he moves aside, to reveal a short blonde boy.
"Edward!" you almost scream, not actually meaning to be so loud.
"(Y-y/n)?" Edward says, looking as if he were seeing things.
"What are you doing here?" you ask happy to see Edward.
"These guys run the town I had to go to, and apparently they know something about the philosopher stone." Edward says with a thumb pointing to a man.
Your eyes widen, As things become more clear.. You are Almost surprised that Edward didn't realize it yet. You decide to play it cool, remembering what the General said about the other alchemist that tried to run. Maybe it was the thought of Edward being brought into this is what scared you into the truth. You gaze over to Edward who was fixated upon the large transmutation circle, and you watch his eyes grow big. There It is, he gets it.
"So where are the towns people you talked about?" Edward asks still looking at the circle.
"Waiting." A man says pointing to a latch on the ground.
"More secret rooms?" you ask.
"That's just a tiny space to put ingredients." The General says calmly.
"Ingredients?" Edward almost shouts.
"Well nothing can be gained without sacrifices, isn't that right alchemist?" The General says smirking at Edward.
"To make the stone... It requires.. People?" Edward asks as he falls to the ground, almost throwing his head in his hands.
"Too much to handle boy? Choose wisely before you become an ingredient, and not an ally." The General says sternly.
"The kid thought he could fool me by acting big and bad." One man says to another.
"Same with the girl." the men share a laugh.
"Shut up! You think we care about our higher ups?" you shout at them.
"Regardless of for reasons, you now have a choice to make." The General says smirking at you.
