The Sun was setting over the horizon, golden colors could be seen in every inch of view. The shade of gold trying to take over all the different colors of green was a breath taking sight. It was going to be dark soon, and as you looked all around, Edward was no where to be found. You take a last look behind you to see the yellow house in the distance, then you look around you to decide where he could have run off too. Seeing a small body of water off in the distance, you decide to head in it's direction, maybe Edward went to think there. You rush over to the lake, though upon gazing around the area, you could find no one. You put a hand on the nice sized tree before leaning against it, staring into the water. The fading sun causing the water to illuminate into a beautiful golden mass. After many moments of staring off at the distance, you can feel movements in the branches above you, a few leaves falling around you. Looking upwards you see a frightened looking Edward, stone cold at the reality of him blowing his cover.
"Ed! What are you doing up there?" You ask, laughing at the sight of him trying to maintain his balance, and silence at the same time.
"I just needed to think!" Edward spat out in annoyance.
"You really want to be alone, huh?" you ask, looking up at him again. When your gaze matches his, he just stared back, expressionless, except for his mouth that was open. Edward quickly turns his head in a huff.
"You always were pretty observant weren't you?" Edward almost mumbles, quickly crossing his arms to his chest.
"Stop acting this way, please?" You plead in a cute way, hoping to cause the blonde boy to come out of the tree, or at least stop being angry at nothing.
"Fine, but you owe me." Edward says carelessly, then the branches shake once more, afterwards he effortlessly lands on the ground.
"Whatever you want!" you say back without thinking, just happy Edward left the tree.
"Anything?" Edward asks in a teasing tone, leaning into your personal space with a finger pointed at you.
"Don't go there!" You shout at him, your cheeks turning pink as you state at his menacing expression.
"You mean here?" Edward says as he brings his pointed finger to your breast, poking it gently.
"Stop it!" you shout, then you quickly smack his hand away, your face now red.
"I'm just messing with you (y/n).. Thanks for cheering me up." Edward says quietly, then he moves his arms around you, taking to into an embrace.
"But I haven't done anything.." you say, then you begin to hug him back.
"That's what's so unbelievable about You." Edward responds in a content sigh, actually glad that you came to find him.
