After retrieving your bag from the hotel that you already paid for, you make your way back to the military mansion. The city looks as though it hasn't been this deserted, for that long, the buildings and old businesses don't seem that old either. You can see still hanging signs, and even some of the business signs lay on the ground.
"Automail shops.." you mutter to yourself, looking at signs on the ground.
What happened to this place? Is that what I am supposed to find out? And why are those military guys so damn weird? You wonder all these things until you are face to face with Overly large building. It's like its freshness outside the while freaking city. You really need to figure out what the hell is up with this place. You help yourself into the doors at the front of the building. The walls are a fresh white, white tiles make up the surface, with long red carpets to accent all of the white. Gold frames with breath taking art hang on almost every inch of the walls. Doors everywhere, leaving you a look of confusion about where to go right now. You walk around until you see the odd military smug from earlier.
"So.. Uh.. Were do I stay in this unnecessarily large place you for here?" you ask as if trying to make the man see how ridiculous he was.
"Oh, well right this way my dear." he says turning to walk down the hall.
"So what happened to this town?" you ask knowing he probably won't tell you.
"Well the businesses were flourishing any longer, I had no choice but to shut a large portion of them down.." He said trying to sound sympathetic.
"Where does the towns income come from then" you ask sensing his bullshit.
"What brings you this way exactly?" He asks stepping ever so gracefully over your question.
"Orders from Colonel Mustang." you say letting it slide.
"Ah Roy, always putting his noes in other people's business." He says smirking as he stops at a door. "You can inhabit this room for the time being, you may join me and my partners for dinner if you like, you better discuss your inspection" He says before wondering off.
You throw your belongs onto the overly lavish bed, as you examine the over kill of class that is this room. "Where the hell does he get money for this?" you mumble.

"So you broke in here, thinking I was the man running this town?" The man says almost laughing at Edward.
"Well this was the address I was assigned to go to." Edward says.
"Were you assigned to break in too?" the man says still amused.
"Well.. Uh no but I just wanted to, alright." Edward says, slowly starting to get worked up.
"It's fine boy.. But does this mean that Roy doesn't know what has been happening here?" the man questions excitedly, as this would mean there is still hope for him to once again run this city.
