Your thoughts fluttered around your mind as you sat outside in the damp morning grass, the bright new sun hitting down on the beautiful spacious lands. The small light brown, shabby looking fences that could be seen far out into the distance, showed much character. These old roads and fences seemed like charming aspects that made up this place. Morning breeze causing the blades of bright green grass to sway along with your hair, the clouds holding many different shapes as you gaze around the bright blue sky.

When you turn to look over you see Edward walking out of the yellow house, his hair finally all the way free from that messy morning braid. His golden hair glowing as the sunlight hit down on him.

"(y/n) What are you doing outside?" Edward shouts waving his arm at you from the porch.

You just wave back, not in the mood to shout, a small smile on your face. At your silence Edward begins to make his way off of the porch and towards where you were.

"Breakfast should be ready soon." Edward makes conversation as he sits down on the ground next to you.

"Thanks." You respond, laying down on the soft grass.

"Its real nice out today.." Edward says as he lays down too.

"Its nice here in general." You reply, causing both of you to share a small laugh.

"It really is.. It was always nice here growing up." Edward's face grew a little sad, but held a hint of thankfulness and joy.

"Where I'm from, it wasn't always so dark.. Still crowded, but not as gloomy." You say, remembering your backyard having the same colorful greens as this place did, your words were spilled without any thought.

"What happened?" Edward turns his head in interest, looking to you.

"I.. I don't really remember much. Maybe when we visit we can ask my father." you say, hoping he will take your answer, and not ask any further on the particular subject.

"Okay.." Edward sighs, not sure if you were telling the truth, "you look really pretty." He says turning onto his side to see you better.

"T-thanks." You turn pink at his sudden compliment and glance.

"I'm being serious!" Edward replies as he tries to calm you by putting a hand on your face.

You want to smile but you just look down, feeling the warmth of his hand touching your face.

"What's wrong?" Edward's face showing concern.

"I don't know.." You say looking down, then up to Edward again, "I just have a lot on my mind."

"Is there anything I can do to help?" Edward asks, hoping you aren't changing your mind about him.

"You are already helping." you say, putting your hand over the one he held to your face.

"Edward! (y/n)!" Winry screams from on the porch, waving at the both of You, "Foods ready!"

"Thanks Winry!" Edward shouts back as he gets up, putting a hand out for you. You take his hand, letting him pull you up from the ground.

"What ever it is, we can get past it." Edward says quietly as the two of you make your way back to the yellow house.

"What?" You ask, not paying too much attention to anything right now.

"Whatever is troubling you, let me help you." Edward says this time turning to see you as he talked.

You look up to see his golden eyes looking into yours, "Things just changes Ed.. And I've got to get used to is all."

Edward turns back to looking ahead, thinking over your words before responding, "I think you give me strength."

"What do you mean?" you ask, wondering what he was going on about now.

"You somehow made me forget everything, feeling at peace, I almost forgot I had to adjust to any change.." Edward tried to put his thoughts into words, "I feel fearless around you (y/n)."

"Stop being cheesy!" You tease with Edward, as you push for elbow into his arm.

"You aren't helping!" Edward shouts as he holds his hands upwards.

You just smile at him and his cute sudden outbursts, hoping he never stops being who he is.

"What's that look for?" Edward asks, glaring at you as you just smile at him.

"Promise me something." You say turning your glance back ahead of you.

"What are you going on about?" Edward asked, still upset about you picking on his sincere words.

"Never change." You respond calmly, your smile never leaving.

"Huh?" Edward looks at you totally confused at this point.

"Well.. Of course you have to change sometimes.. But I love you for who you are, and I never want you to change for worse." You say, still just looking ahead, studying the yellow house as it becomes near.

"Now who's cheesy?" Edward asks, smirking at you.

"Shut it you!" Your turn to snap at him, you spin around to glare at him.

"We're even!" Edward exclaims, running up to you to hug you.

"Edwar-" You begin to say as you felt your balance giving out, Edward fell along with you. "What are you doing?"

"Like I planned to fall!" Edward sulks at his failed attempt.

"Lets get going." You say getting up, this time lending him a hand to get up.

"I can't wait until we can go to central again." Edward said with a thoughtful look.

"I'll call Roy when we get back inside.. You didn't have to come with me, you know?" You start to feel a little bad that Edward took leave just because of you.

"Its No big deal, scar is after me too!" Edward brings a hand up to the back of his neck. "Honestly.. I just wanted to be with you.."
