The nap you had began to take was short lived, you were crashed back to reality when you hear banging at the hospital door.

"What the hell?" Edward asked in a groan.

"What is it?" You ask, sounding equally displeased.

The door opens to reveal the Colonel, "pleasant surprise, isn't this cute?" He says in a sarcastic tone.

"You shut your mouth!" Edward snaps at the Colonel.

"Now now, FullMetal I'm just here to check on JewelGravel. I didn't know you would be here, or in her bed for that matter. I didn't think the friendship between you two would develop this way." The Colonel replies, explaining himself, while then letting his confusion of this situation be know.

"What's it to you?" Edward asks is a huff, crossing his arms.

"Well it has a good bit to do with me." The Colonel responds calmly.

"What does that mean?" You ask getting irritated by the man's presence.

"You both work under me, and it would be pretty hard to explain this to the higher ups." The Colonel responds sounding serious.

"Oh.. That's why.." you begin to say as you look lost in thought.

"What?" Edward asks now looking to you.

"That's why him and the lieutenant aren't official!" you exclaim proudly as you snap out of your thoughts.

"I.. Uh.. That. That isn't important, JewelGravel, are you well enough to move?" The Colonel asks trying to change the subject.

"More or less." You respond with a small grin, as you hate admitting you have anything wrong with you.

"I need you to leave Central for a few days, the murderer Scar was reported as seen around here." The Colonel says sternly.

"So what, I don't care about him!" you snap at the Colonel, forgetting the time you had met scar, and fought with him.

"He targets state alchemists, I do not want any of my soldiers getting hurt. So I'm requesting that you take a few days off, FullMetal can accompany you if that's what you're worried about." The Colonel reasons with you, teasing you at the end of his statement.

"I'm already taking time off?" you ask in a whine.
