~*This site keeps telling me that this chapter is before the chapter "Burdens of a Soul", no matter how much I rearrange them, it keeps showing up switched. This chapter comes after that one, just in case it's showing up that way to you. Sorry if this mix up is showing up for you.*~

Walking back into the room, the first thing you notice is Alphonse standing in front of a widow, blocking most of the light from getting in. Edward still sitting at the table, his anger almost radiating off of him. You slowly walk over to the table and sit next to him once more.

"You okay Ed?" you ask, hoping he isn't to upset about their father leaving.

"Do we look okay?" Edward snaps, still just staring at the wooden table.

"Brother!" Alphonse snapped back at his brother for shouting at you, "we will be fine (y/n). Alphonse said quietly while looking at you.

"I talked to Colonel Bastard." You say trying to make Edward laugh, of only a little.

"Yeah? What did he have to say?" Edward asks in monotone, still staring down at the table.

"He sounded unnecessarily frantic, but apparently we can go back now." You say, trying to remember just what the Colonel was saying in his rushed madness.

"Its hasn't been that long yet." Edward stares the obvious, still not moving from his pose.

"Well, I'm going to get ready!" you say getting back up, letting the boys deal with his one their own way.

"I'll pack for you brother." Alphonse says moving towards your direction. With no sound coming from Edward, you and Alphonse walk up the stairs.

"Will he be okay?" You ask quietly.

"Yeah. Ed just thinks he had to be mad for me." Alphonse says,  almost amused at how his brother acts sometimes.

"Maybe it's just an excuse." You say, knowing how badly Edward wants to hate his father.

"Something like that." Alphonse giggles awkwardly as he touches the back of his head.

"I'll be ready shortly." you open the door of the room you were to stay in.

"Ok!" Alphonse says, his metal sounding movements imply he was in Edward's room now.

Walking to the bed, you look down to see your bag almost completely poured out. You wonder why you are so rough sometimes, but quickly begin picking out some clothes to wear for the day. After getting dressed and putting your boots on, you throw your possessions back into your suit case. Before exiting the room, you decide to open the zipper on the outside of your bag, grabbing a small item and running over to the mirror. You open the small thing, running it over your eyelashes, making them darker. Once done you head for the door, ready to be back in Central.

"I'm ready!" You shout as you close the door behind you.

"I got brothers bag!" Alphonse says equally as loud as he leaves Edward's room.

"Is Ed even dressed?" you ask, wondering if the blonde was still openly sulking.

"No.." Alphonse replied holding up Edward's usual outfit.
