You hangup the phone upon realizing the Colonel wasn't going to answer, he must have already went home. It was awfully late at this point after all. You sigh as you begin to make your way back to the dining room, once you get closer, you can hear the men chatting quite happily. You wonder what they were going on about, as you take your seat once more.

"So how did it go JewelGravel?" The General asks smiling.

"Oh. It went fine." you reply quickly, testing his reactions again.

"You were gone for some time, what was said?" The general asks, sounding rather happy still.

"Well the Colonel says he is glad you are doing good here, I informed him that any slow down in business was assured to make a 180 before long!" you respond, lying through your teeth.

"Great. I'm glad you see it my way JewelGravel." the man says almost evilly.

"You seem like a pretty smart man, you must really know what you are doing here, but I have a deal for you." You say crossing your arms behind your head and resting your head on them.

"Oh, what is that?" He asks leaning his weight on the table.

"You tell me the truth about everything going on here, simply because I'm curious, and I'll continue giving the Colonel good reports so I can get the hell out of here." you say smirking.

"Well you rise a high bargain JewelGravel, but since it seems you understand me a bit, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to tell you a few things." He says chuckling.

Edward was sharing many laughs with the corrupt men, as to better get on their good side. After many minutes of taking shots at the Colonel Roy Mustang, Edward decides to bring back up the business.

"You guys sure are good company, I must say!" Edward says right after a big laugh.

"Your a pretty sharp kid, ya know that?" The general replies, glad That Edward didn't seem to be a goody tooshu to his higher ups.

"Well I may be a dog of the military, but I haven't sold my soul to them. Sometimes you gotta bend the rules a little, you guys seem to get the bigger picture." Edward says smirking, pretending to admire their almost, snotty decorations.

"With that attitude kid, you will come onto a lot of power. I could see you moving far up in rank." The General says, seemingly pandering to Edward's deceptions.

"I appreciate that, after all, that's what I'm in it for." Edward rplies generously, trying to look more than pleased by the General's words.

"Is that right?" the general responds.

"So I'm interested in your plans out here, seems like it must be a pretty profitable plot. I do like taking notes from wise men like yourselves." Edward says smirking, moving his glance back to the General.

"To be Frank kid, the man running this place wasn't Incompetent, he was everything that wasn't corrupt, too pure for real business." The General says sounding pleased.

"Caring too much for the people won't get you all that far." Edward replies, trying to appease, and please him enough for more information.
