All of a sudden you notice you are now gazing upon a familiar backyard. Large dark brown wooden fences, much taller than you, bright green grass bakes under the Sun light. Flowers of so many different colors and bright red roses at full bloom with water droplets on almost every petal, grow in different parts of the seemingly large yard. You notice a few old, but character filled stepping stones sunk within the earth, creating a few paths into the earth, leading in a few different directions. You follow the path forward to a beautiful wooden swing planted into the ground to the far right, with majestic vines growing all over the swing. You run to sit on the familiar seat, as you do, you see a person near the house sitting at an also familiar table. You can't help but be happy, as the person gets up and opens the door, out runs a tubby short little vanilla colored dog.
"J-jack..." You mumble. Then you realize exactly where you are, it's not just your happy place inside of your head. "M-m-mom!" You scream as you run to the person sitting at the table she extends her arms for your arrival, but the closer you get to her, everything in sight gets more dull and grey. You turn to look behind you and all the scenery that was once beautiful and full of color, also a dull greying color. You watch as everything turns to grey as you hear Edward's voice calling to you.
"E-Edward?" you say rubbing your eyes.
"Are you okay?" Edward asks as he rests your body on his. You look up to see a slightly beaten Edward, marks all over his clothing, with a single trickle of blood framing the side of his face. You rub the blood with your hand, not thinking, you then smile at him, before remembering what had been happening. You jolt upwards ignoring the pain you were in, "what happened? Where is Envy?"
"They ran off.." Edward says, his own words reminding him that he was annoyed by that information.
"Who is they? You keep saying they!" You snap at Edward, upset that You didn't seem to know as much as he did.
"You only met Envy?" Edward asks you, not realizing that you didn't know as much as he did.
"That's right." you say, waiting for more information to spill from Edward's mouth.
"Well we have met Lust, Gluttony, Greed, and Wrath. But we are sure that there are more of them." Edward says thinking slightly.
"Homonculous huh? I don't dig it." You respond with a small grin, trying to amuse Edward since the danger seemed to be gone. Edward pulls you in for a hug, but he wraps his arms around yours, so you couldn't return the embrace, even if you had any desire too.
"You really are something else (y/n).." Edward said as he seemed to be shaking slightly.
"Are you okay?" You ask, while he keeps holding you almost hostage.
"I'm more than okay, because you are." Edward says, and then he finally lets you go. "I need a hand with something."
"What is it?" You ask.
Edward points to Alphonse with a slight grin, "well we should try and find the rest of him, so you know, we can get out of here."
"Fair enough" you say retuning the grin. "I'm glad that you're okay Al." You say smiling to him.
"I'm glad you are okay too (y/n)." Alphonse says happy that the homonculous are gone.
