Aya
"Are you sure you can trust him Kali?" Kali nods at me, biting her bottom lip.
"It is the only thing that makes sense. Why would Logan want to kill me all of a sudden unless it was from that facility?"
"But doesn't James love you? You're one of his closest friends."
"Was. I told him never to leave and never come back... Could he want to kill me for that?" I grab her hands and force her to look me in the eyes.
"Kali this is very serious. If you choose to believe Logan that means we're in the home of a murderer and if you choose to believe in James then we just have to convince Logan not to do anything... drastic." Kali nods and smiles at me.
"I know Aya. I will go think about it and I will tell you my decision before I do anything." Kali hugs me before going into Liz's room, greeting Liz as she walks inside. I feel so sorry for you Kali... You have so much to worry about in this world...
"Aya." I turn and hold in a wince as I stare into the cold eyes of Noah.
"What do you want Noah?" He smiles and leans in, his eyes studying me closely.
"You owe me for saving your life." I stand up straighter and push him back. I have lived through all the hell this world has thrown at me and I am not letting this guy scare me.
"Yes I am aware Noah. Now what do you want me to do? I have things I have to do on top of whatever thing you need." Noah smirks and pushes me into the wall.
"You don't have the authority to talk to me in that manner." I don't know what happens within me but I feel something snap, all the years of anger pouring out of me.
"I have the authority to speak to you any way I want! You know it's funny actually because I have never seen you in the village that I basically control! Who are you really?"
"I wouldn't press into someone's past Aya Yoshido. Don't want to end up like your husband now do you?" I feel a pain in my heart as Noah pulls out a picture of us, my husband and me smiling at the camera.
"Where did you get that?" I speak through clenched teeth, trying to keep all of the memories at bay. Noah's smile broadens.
"I found it on the Atlas. You should really be more aware of your things. Don't want to be forgetful." I don't stop myself from slapping him, my hand stinging.
"Don't you ever make fun of my husband! He was a good man who loved me!"
"You will help me get Samantha and, because I am a nice person, I will reunite you with your husband."
"How?!" I mentally wince at my foolishness. You fell for what he wanted, a reaction. He can't possibly bring back the dead...
"I have powers that will allow me to reunite you with him." He opens his palm, white flames forming on his palm. "And all you have to do is help me find her." I nod slowly. Will he stick to his word?
"I agree on one condition." Noah raises his eyebrows at me.
"You are in no position to make conditions but I am a curious man so I will hear it out."
"If I help you, you must protect Samantha, Amber and Kali with your life. There is something about her that reminds me of my daughters." Noah nods, his smile replaced with seriousness.
"I promise." I nod and shake his hand, our promises bound together. "We will start searching tomorrow." Noah smiles at me before weaving his way down the hallway, disappearing into one of the joining rooms. I shake my head of any of those thoughts before going into the living room. I sit on the couch, the TV turning on automatically.
