"What should we do if someone attacks us?" Charles turns to face the soldier to his left, the one who asked the question.
"You are a soldier are you not?" The soldier nods quickly, looking forward again as Charles looks back down the sidewalk. None of the soldiers around me say anything as I continue to stay silent. Their large coats cover their guns, their backpacks slung over their shoulders as they walk. I can escape in the crowd around us... All I have to do is push the soldier next to me to the ground and make a run for it, disappearing into the large crowd. I'll have to try and find Noah before Katherine would kill him though... Maybe I can stay hidden by her building and stop Noah before he gets inside.
"Once we get to Times Square I want the equipment set up in a perimeter, we need to make sure it all happens at the same time just in case." The soldiers stay silent as we continue to walk down the sidewalk, people cursing at the soldiers as they push through the crowd. Cars pull over to the side of the road as police and firetrucks fly down the road, turning into down the street. Probably going to that Statue of Freedom or whatever it is called... Sweat runs down my face as the traffic continues as before, us now on the move again. I take a deep breath and grip my stomach, crying out in pain as I fall to my knees. I continue to stay hunched over as the soldiers stop in the middle of the sidewalk, people pushing past them angrily.
"What's wrong?" I hold in a smile as the soldier closest to me bends down, his coat opening up slightly, his military knife visible on his belt. I shake my head and let out another cry, the soldier moving closer to me. "Did the stitches open u-" The rest of his words are consumed by the blood bubbling up from the cut that paints itself across his neck as I slide the military knife across it. The soldier falls to the ground, the others stunned as I turn and cut another's hand as they reach down for me.
The crowd around us erupts into a frenzy of screams as they run over each other to get away from the dead soldier and the other soldiers that now have their guns raised. They shout as I run through the crowd, people moving with me as they desperately try to run away. More screams echo up from the crowd as cars screech to a stop, colliding with other cars as they stop. I dive to the ground as gunshots come from somewhere behind me, the crowd changing direction and pouring out into the street while others try to get inside buildings.
Keep moving, don't look back... Move until you get to Noah, move until you find somewhere to hide for him. I need to keep him safe, he is the only one who still cares for me in this world and I can't lose him... I lost my baby to her and I am not losing him too! She will die before she hurts anyone else close to me!
I don't look back as more gunshots echo up from behind me, complete chaos all around me as cars stop in the middle of traffic to keep themselves from hitting the citizens fleeing in the roads. Police sirens begin to scream from behind buildings as they officers run around the corner, the cars not able to come around from the traffic.

I signal for them to move forward, the two soldiers with me moving up the sidewalk while keeping a distance from Kali, Logan, Elizabeth, and James.
"The targets Xileth, Zoey, Julie and Eclipse, along with Eclipse's companions, have entered Times Square. The other troops who were assigned to Times Square have not arrived y-" My body straightens as gunshots echo from the ear buds and from behind me. The soldiers take cover as Kali and the others turn around to face the direction of the gunfire, the citizens also turning around as fear begins to spread through the crowd. Dammit! They will make their way back to the hotel and I will have to tell Katherine how the mission has failed... Fuck! I need Logan to give up Elizabeth and that damn James Nightlock!
