I stood silently in the corner of an underground space, as I watched Sasuke recharge his chidori, four dummies set up in front of him.

His cursed mark stretched up to his face as he lifted up his arm, focusing his attention on the chidori and the dummies.

After a moments of the loud and annoying crackling sound his power made, the targets on the dummies split in half.

I smirked as he retracted chidori, his cursed mark drawing back as well.

I clapped my hands together a few times, pushing myself off of the wall as I emerged in front of Sasuke.

He narrowed his eyes at me as I stood in front of him, an amused smirk on my face.

"Congratulations, Sasuke. You successfully did something that I myself don't even know what the hell you did." I said, making sure to coat my tone thick with sarcasm.

He only shut his eyes in irritation, brows furrowed as if the sound of my voice pained him.

Instead of arguing with me he chose to ignore me, again. What the hell is up with him? The only reason I bothered to be around him was because Father requested me to watch over him, or I just wanted to get in a ridiculous argument, which would then lead to us sparring, which I would always win.

It was like he was treating me kinder, with more respect.

I hated it.

It was two weeks ago, after I had punched him in the face, that our conversations had grown more smaller and I had begun to get up with him to watch him train by himself. Most of these days Father was busy with preparing himself for the day he's been waiting for; the day when he would successfully take Sasuke's body. (IN A NON SEXUAL WAY OK). Which is why he has me watching over him everyday to track his skills. I've been doing absolutely nothing but following Sasuke around like a lost puppy.

I also managed to keep a good distance from him, not bothering to bug him and choosing to sleep instead. I used my summoning jutsu to summon Leya, my black Lion, whom I slept on through the boring parts of Sasuke's training.

It had been like this for the past two weeks. Every time I tried to start something with him, he'd ignore it and either walk away, or start a totally different subject. Maybe its because the doomsday is coming quickly, and he regrets being rude to me and for almost killing me, which is why he's suddenly being so kind?

Nope. Doesn't sound like him at all.

I relaxed back in my bed, using my fingers to manipulate my blood as I made it dance in the air above me.

A simple candle illuminated the room as I sighed in boredom.

When the door creaked open I flicked my fingers to the right, aiming for the head of whoever was up so late at night.

There was a slice of something before I heard it thud to the ground in pieces.

I glanced at the door to see Sasuke standing there, a broken chair in his hand, his dark eyes narrowed down at me.

Hmm. Nice. He came prepared.

"Sasuke. If we were on closer terms, I'd say that you're here because you wanna have a go at it." I teased him, turning over to my side and watching him.
