XXXXIV: Refusable Offer

"Miyako."

I jolted upright, my butt hurting from sitting upon the hard ground, neck aching from sleeping with my head rocked downwards.

"Good morning, sunshine." I could hear the amusement in his voice.

"What the hell do you want?" I spat at him.

I watched as his silhouette bent down before me.

"You should speak to me with more respect. I control the outcome of your life." Madara spoke lowly.

"Why don't you try and take a bite out of me? I dare you." I threatened.

"I wonder why Sasuke has taken a great liking into you." He spoke.

"Aww. Are you jealous?"

"In fact, he likes you so much that he has demanded you to be locked up in his room instead."

I chuckled. So that bastard actually did that.

"Really now?" I asked, amused.

"Will you listen to his demand?"

"Don't know. I kind of enjoyed Pain's company."

"Watch your tone." He warned me again.

I rolled my eyes. "What do you want from me?"

"Ah. Impressive you are."

"You would have sent one of your servants to fetch me, not yourself."

"Being Orochimaru's daughter, you of course have extraordinary abilities, being able to master all of the chakra natures. I want you to join-"

"No." I snapped.

"No?"

"If my idiot father spent half of his life hiding from you idiots, then I refuse."

"Oh, dear princess. This is not an offer to refuse." He spoke as his tone darkened.

I frowned. "What do you mean?"

"If you want to live, you will join us."

"Give me one reason why I should."

"The Mother of Beasts inside you is your lifeline."

I let out an alarmed gasp as I stared at him in shock, my body frozen in horror.

How the hell?!

"What the hell are you talking about?!" I snapped. Who the hell told him?! Sasuke wouldn't. Pain wouldn't because he tried to use me. The only other people who knew about me are dead, or are Sasuke's servants.

Unless..

"You knew. All along." I said in a hushed voice. In that moment I used my chakra to totally seclude Shiroryuu.

I could almost see that nasty sneer through his mask.

"Your powers. It is impossible to learn and master all five chakra natures at such a young age. Which is why, the only conclusion is that the Mother of Beasts was the one who gave you those gifts."
