XXXV: Creation

"She is so beautiful."

"And she is yours. Although created from the mass of pure power and the will of man, she will grow regularly as humans do. You must keep her interaction with others as limited as possible, contact with anyone could awaken the sleeping beast inside of her. The best for your family is to keep her isolated and away from danger, to keep others from finding out about her."

"That sounds like torture." Kushina said in a hushed voice.

"But it won't. She doesn't carry human emotions, which has its advantage, but that means she can be easily manipulated. Make her grow to love you, and her loyalty will stay with you until the end. Understand... Minato?"

Minato Namikaze stood leaned against the wall, staring down at the sleeping baby, before switching his gaze to Kushina's slightly swollen stomach.

"And what of our son?"

"Naruto will be the only friend this little girl has."

"I don't want a tailed beast near my son." The Fourth Hokage simply stated.

"Minato. She is a baby girl, not a beast." Kushina spoke.

"She is dangerous, Kushina. I can't risk it hurting you or our child."

"What can a mere baby do?!" Kushina pleaded.

"Its what she can do in the future that worries me. I'm sorry, Master Jiraiya. I cannot take this child."

"You know you're the only person capable of handling this child."

"Why don't you take her?"

Master Jiraiya chuckled softly, a sad glint in his eyes. "You know I can't."

"I don't like the idea of isolating this baby for the rest of her life, but if what you say is true, Master Jiraiya, then-"

"Kushina, you can't be considering this." Minato warned.

"We're the only ones capable of taking in this child. We won't have to tell her who she truly is when she's older. Please, Minato. Naruto can have an older sister to grow up with."

Minato stared at his wife with a tense expression, his eyes swirling with mixed emotions.

He didn't like the idea of another beast getting close to his wife, who held the future vessel of a certain beast. And he knew that when Naruto would be born, he would have to seal the nine tailed fox inside his own son.

Raising two children with beasts residing inside of them didn't sound too promising to Minato. 

But he loved his wife, so so much.

Minato sighed. "Fine."

Grins spread across Master Jiraiya's and Kushina's face as the little baby stirred in Master Jiraiya's arms.

"It seems she's awake." Jiraiya spoke as the little baby opened her eyes.

Jiraiya stared down at her icy blue eyes that twinkled in the light, as the baby just looked up at him with a blank expression. And then she grinned up at the silver haired man.
