Your POV
"Who are you, and what do you want, Shadow Knight?" the man who held a diamond broadsword to my neck asked in a gruff voice. I winced.

"I am," I hesitated, deciding whether or not to give my real name. I decided on my real name when the sword crept just a bit closer to my neck.

"I am (Y/N) (L/N). Might I ask who you are?" I got out.

"I am Garroth and he's Laurance." He pointed to himself in his guard armor and helmet covering his face, the Laurance, the light brunette with periwinkle eyes full of mischief who had STOLEN MY SWORD.

"Now, why are you here, (Y/N)?" Garroth asked with what sounded like disapproval.

"I-I want to find my fam-parents." I stopped myself from saying family when I remembered that my siblings were still Shadow Wolves loyal to the Shadow Lord. At least, most of them.

"Well (Y/N), can we ask if you are to be trusted?" Laurance asked in the background. Garroth shot him a look through his helmet. "I mean, it looks like she was running from the Nether, Garroth."

"Can I please sit up?" I asked Garroth. He sighed, then removed his sword from my neck. I sat up, leaning against a tree because I'm still weak from running.

"So...." I started. "Where are you guys from?" Garroth replied.

"Phoenix Drop."

"You're welcome to stay there, if you'd like," Laurance offered.

"I would really like that, if Garroth and your lord don't mind," I replied with a small smile.

"Lord Aphmau-"

"Lord Aphmau doesn't have the time to deal with someone who could be a treat, unless you have proof that you are trustworthy," Garroth out off Laurance whole staring at my hand, the one holding the only good thing before the Shadows entered my life. I clutched my locket even tighter, refusing to give it to either of them. They seemed trustworthy, but I had been fooled before. By them.

*Snap* I heard a branch snap and looked towards it as an indigo haired man dropped a potion on me. I tried in vain to protect myself with my arms. I fell against the tree with my eyes closed, unable to move. Though I was unable to move, I was aware that one of the three kneeled down next to me. He gently pried my locker from my hand. I heard it snap open and close, followed by the clink of armor as he got up.

"Dante, tie her wrists together. We're taking her to Phoenix Drop, and we don't know how long the potion will last," Garroth said with his British accent.

"Are you sure it's safe?" Dante worried.

"We'll have Zoey create a barrier so she can't leave the....." I felt the rest of the potion take effect and drag me into darkness. I was gone....

I hope you guys like part two. I don't really know what I did. Most of this book will probably be me writing the first thing that comes to my mind. If you don't know, I'll be updating this every Tuesday. See you guys in a week! Ciao!
