Garroth's POV

After I told Dante to tie (Y/N)'s hands together, I started tying her ankles together. The potion should keep them unconscious until after we reach Phoenix Drop, but better safe than sorry.

"Are you sure it's safe?" Dante asked with worry lacing each word.

"We'll have Zoey create a barrier so she can't leave the guard station, then maybe we can ask more questions and see if they are trustworthy," I replied as I finished the knot. I picked her up and asked Laurance to carry her weapons. We don't know the effects of regular humans holding Shadow gear, but we don't want to find out. I asked Dante to carry her bag, since that should be safe. We headed towards Phoenix Drop to be greeted by Aphmau herself. She looked at us, specifically me, worry filling her eyes.

"Who is she? Is she okay? Come on, we have to get them to my house and Zoey. Wait, why are they tied up?" Aphmau bombarded us with questions. I patiently waited until she stopped, then sighed.

"She claims to be (Y/N) (L/N). She says she's looking for her parents. It looked like she was running from the Nether and was so tired she collapsed. We found her in the woods this morning in this. She woke up," I paused. "And I didn't know if she was a threat or not so I put my sword to her neck."

"Meanwhile I snuck around and dropped a potion of sleeping on her," Dante added. "We tied her up and Garroth carried her here." Aphmau looked at me carrying (Y/N) bridal style. I started turning pink and thanked Irene for my helmet.

"I'm going to put her in the guard station. I'll hopefully meet you guys and Zoey there soon," I stated, hoping they get the hint.

Laurance nodded, calling, "I'll get Zoey." I walked towards the old guard station and set (Y/N) in the cell. I paced in the entrance until Dante, Aphmau, Laurance, and Zoey arrived.

"Can I see her?" Zoey asked. "I might be able to make a stronger or more efficient barrier if I can see her." I nodded and pointed at the cell. Zoey ran over and took in (Y/N), her dress, boots, locket, everything. Zoey closed her eyes and a ripple of light teal light created a bubble around the guard station be fore disappearing. I untied (Y/N) and she started to wake up. She looked at us through the bars and sighed, tears visible in her eyes.

   "I guess I deserve to be locked away," (Y/N) said in a small voice, ignoring the open cell door. "After all I did almost kill someone close to me." She started to cry. Aphmau and Zoey ran in to comfort her. I felt useless. Aphmau murmured something to (Y/N) then asked me to run to Cadenza's to ask for a (F/C) dress. I ran off, losing myself in my thoughts. My thoughts wandered to the beautiful Aphmau, who kept friend zoning me, almost without caring. This is why it's called a crush, that's how you feel when they don't like you back.
