Your POV

   I was sitting on the table (no! Senpai....) in the guard tower when I heard the ladder creak. I turned around and saw Laurance. He gasped, then ran to me. He shoved me into the floor and hugged the table. I just sat on the floor dumbfounded. Laurance stopped hugging the table and turned to me with his arms crossed.

   "How could you do that to my love? Just carelessly sit on them like.... Like they're a piece of furniture!" Laurance exclaimed.

   "Your.... Love? But-"

   "Yes, my love. Table is all I need. We love each other."

   "If you love each other, why is the table making out with the chair?" I inquired. Laurance gasped, whirling around to look at his 'love.'

   "Hot Table~Chan, how could you do this to me? I thought you loved me," Laurance cried over dramatically, kneeling on the floor. I snickered, but hugged him.

   "It's okay. Table isn't worth it. You're better than them," I managed to say without laughing. I may have snorted once. Laurance fake sniffles, then looked at me. A smirk grew on his face. I backed away, unnerved by the deviousness in Laurance's perriwinkle eyes. He slowly got off the ground keeping his face in the same expression.

   "You know what this means?" Laurance asked.

   "Ummmm.... Laurance...? What's with that look on your face?" I asked, my eyes darting from Laurance to the ladders leading down, then back again.

   "You're single, right?"

   The question shocked me. "Ummm, yes."

   "Then I won't get in trouble for doing this." Laurance's smirk grew and he approached me.

   "Uhh..." Laurance got closer and I made a mad dash to the ladders, to freedom. I slipped past a stunned Laurance. I threw myself down the ladder and heard a scuffle and a thump.

   "Mother of Irene! You stupid table! This is why you're my ex!" Laurance screamed. I stifled a giggle and continued to descend, picking up the pace when I saw Laurance starting to catch up. I burst out of the guard tower and sprinted to the plaza. I spotted Garroth and Aphmau chatting so I ran behind them, using them to shield me.

   "Hide me," I hissed.

   "Why?" Aphmau asked.

   "Because of that," I replied, pointing to a wild Laurance.

   "I will find you (Y/N)!" Laurance yelled, earning him a few weird stares. Aphmau and Garroth stared at me.

   "What did you do?" Garroth questioned.

   "Nothing. I just sat on the table, then Laurance came and pushed me off. He then broke up with the table and approached me with a crazy look. I ran here and hid."

   "Table is single?" Aphmau gasped. "I'm coming for you, my love!" she cried, running to the guard tower.

   "Well then...." Garroth trailed off and stared behind me. I was suddenly lifted off the ground and carried away from the plaza towards Aphmau's house. I was screaming for Garroth to help and making futile efforts to escape by banging my arms against Laurance's back. Laurance eventually reached Aphmau's house and headed to her basement, carrying me into Aphmau's guest room, or my room. He set me on the bed before quickly closing and locking the door. I heard banging, which I presumed was Garroth, but Laurance ignored it, instead turning to face me.

   "Wait. Before you do anything, let's make a deal. Do you accept?" Laurance nodded, preparing himself for whatever I had in store. What have I gotten myself into?
