Your POV

We need to find Nicole. Even if she snuck the boys into the sleepover, she's still considered a friend. Screw the fact that we've known each other for only a few days, Phoenix Drop can't be destroyed. By now everyone knew of the dilemma. My tail nervously swung side to side. But what if we don't find her in time. What if they didn't just kill her? What if- what ifs won't help. We need to search. I got up from my perch by the Irene statue and started walking around the town and surrounding woods, straining my now completely (F/C) ears for the slightest of human sounds.

I kept hunting until it was too dark to see my hand in front of my face. I carefully tried to make my way back to Phoenix Drop, but fell into a hole that was covered by grass. (Reader~Chan, that's Laurance's job. He's the one who always fall in holes.) I stood up, brushing of dirt and examining the walls. They were too steep to climb, so the only option I had was asking someone for help, if they could hear me. I debated whether or not to call out, but didn't have to because a dark shadow loomed over the hole. I sucked in a breath before a voice called out.

"(Y/N)? The wolf girl who lives in Phoenix Drop?" the deep voice asked.

"Yes?" I answered. I don't think Zane and the other guys know my name.

"Why aren't you in the village?"

"I was out looking for a lost friend and feel on my way back."

   "...."

"If you don't believe me you can go ask Aphmau-"

"I don't believe she'd like to see anymore of me." What? Who is this person?

"Oh. Umm. Okay," I awkwardly replied. I fidgeted.

"I believe you are looking in the wrong place." The figure said before turning to leave.

"Hey wait!" I yelled at the retreating shadow, but it was already too late. I groaned, sitting back down. I guess I'm stuck here. The others will probably start worrying when I don't come home. Oh my Irene, I have to get back to them. They already have enough stress....

I got up, newfound determination giving me the strength to think of new angles. I decided to try carving a ladder out of the dirt walls. I accidentally broke my nail after a little while.

"Gosh darn it!" I examined my nail which was now extremely short and bleeding a little. I tried to clear the dirt away from it so it wouldn't get infected. I sat back down, now no longer able to do anything when a shadow appeared again. This one was shorter than the other and had a more, how to say, demanding stance. He cackled evilly and I recognized him as Zane. I muttered things under my breath, ending with, "I knew things would get worse."

"Well, well, well. What do we have here?" He asked coyly. "A small lost puppy?"

"More like a vicious wolf who wouldn't mind tearing you to shreds," I retorted. Zane laughed.

"Now, now, look who's in control here. Where are you from, wolfie?"

"I really don't think that's relevant right now."

"But it is, since you live in Phoenix Drop, right?" I stiffened. He noticed and leered over the hole, taunting me. "So you are. They are the only place who would accept a freak like you." I snarled, jumping off the ground and leaping towards Zane, but the hole was at least a foot taller than I could reach. Zane laughed at my fruitless attempt.

"So you are a mutt after all. How pathetic," he spat. I glared at him, ears flat against my head. "Still, your friends might care if you go missing. How about we make a deal?"

"I'd never betray Aphmau, Garroth, Laurance, or anyone else in Phoenix Drop." I started stalking along the edge of the hole closest to Zane.

"That's what you say now. What if I were to offer a bargaining chip. Perhaps," he paused. "You're siblings." I froze, too shocked to do anything.

   "How...?"

"They're still in the Nether, most of them anyways." Zane waved a hand dismissively. "That's not what's important. After all, you have to agree with my demands." I hesitated. Is it safe to trust Zane? He might be able to help my siblings, but he could be lying.

"What are those demands?" I asked carefully. Zane laughed.

"You know, the usual. Help me destroy those closest to you, burn the village, stereotypical medieval villain stuff." I snorted.

   "Wow. You have no originality."

"But I do have bargaining chips. I'll come back tomorrow at noon to see if you've made your decision. I hope you make the right one." Zane left leaving me alone with my thoughts.

How am I going to get out of this one?
