Garroth's POV

(Y/N) and I laughed as Katelyn continued to threaten and yell at Travis. Even when all the odds seemed against us, they still had time to bicker. I sighed, slumping against the maroon wall. (Y/N) stopped giggling and looked at me.

"What's wrong?" she asked, her head tilting slightly to the right in a cute manner. I held back a bitter laugh.

"Hay guys, what are you talking about?" Katelyn asked, holding a barely conscious Travis. The albino pervert shook his head to clear his thoughts.

"I was just asking Garroth what was wrong," (Y/N) answered.

"Well, considering we're being held captive in the Nether, things are pretty bad. But thy could be worse!" Travis cheerfully informed us. Katelyn glared at him.

"No duh. What gave it away? The red bricks everywhere, or the lava bubbling right outside?" Katelyn asked sarcastically. I rolled my eyes but smiled.

"Katelyn, calm down. If we want to escape, or at least bring Laurance back, we need to have everyone level headed. Got it?" (Y/N) asked. Katelyn nodded, calming herself. Travis settled himself next to me, and Katelyn sat herself next to him and (Y/N), forming a small circle.

"What do you guys know about this place? Anything?" (Y/N) asked. I shook my head.

"Nothing in the few hours we've been here. I'm guessing guards change every six to eight hours, but we haven't been here that long yet," I replied. (Y/N) drummed her fingers on her leg, her tail sweeping the floor behind her. She bit her lip before speaking.

"What are the odds of Laurance being a guard for us?"

"Very good, I would say." Everyone turned around to see Laurance, decked out in dark red armor, checking his nails. He looked up at us and smirked.

"YOU TRAITOR!" Katelyn yelled, throwing herself at Laurance. Travis struggled to hold her back, and (Y/N) just stared at the floor. I Cooley glared at Laurance.

"What do you want?" I asked. I know that Laurance, my brother, is somewhere inside him, but I don't know where. Laurance laughed.

"Can I not check up on my dear friends?" Laurance asked. "You know I was worried about you. I wouldn't want any of you to get hurt or possibly die." He smiled evilly. I scowled slightly.

"Can you please leave?" (Y/N) asked in a thin voice. She looked like she was about to break. Her (H/L) (H/C) hair covered half her face, and her (E/C) eyes were glassy. She sat hunched over, and her ears were drooping towards the ground.

"No can do Miss (Y/N). I have a job, and that's guarding you. Nothing you not I can do about it-"

"But you can stop antagonizing us," I replied.

"I don't have to listen to you," Laurance laughed mirthlessly. "The only person I have to listen to-" Laurance was cut off once again.

"Is me." A tall (H/C) haired woman stood beside Laurance. She smiled. "Hello (Y/N), it's been a while. Almost thirty years?" (Y/N) froze, and I scooted closer to her. I squeezed her hand. I'm here. You're not alone. She squeezed back weakly.

"Wow. You look good for pushing forty-" Travis was scut off by Katelyn punching him. Travis rubbed his jaw. "OW!!" Katelyn shook out her fist.

   "Serves you right."

"For what?! All I said was that (Y/N)'s sister looked good for being forty."

   "You have low standards."

"I- awww, is someone jealous?" Travis teased. "I'm sorry Katie, I won't flirt with any other girls from now-" Katelyn punched Travis again, but her cheeks were dusted with pink. Travis laid on the ground.

"It will be worth it when you admit you love me," he croaked.

"Amusing. However seeing you guys get along so well was not part of the plan. I'll have to change the cell arrangements. Until later," (Y/N)'s sister said before leaving. Laurance smirked at us before turning around to watch the hallway. I sighed and gently rubbed (Y/N)'s back since she seemed upset.

"It will all work out in the end," I reassured her. At least I hope it will.

Another week gone, another chapter done. I don't know when I'll end this book, but I know how. Oh, you can blame pandastar888 for my name today. Her school project story was too cliche and I hated it. But anyways, have a great morning/day/afternoon/evening/night! Ciao!
