Laurance's POV

The bells started ringing, signaling the end of our second visit. I kissed (Y/N)'s cheek, wishing it were her lips. I sighed as I sat up in bed, blinking in the bright sunshine. Travis walked in, a little surprised to see me here.

"Oh, you're back. Katelyn is going to check if Aphmau is right now. Perhaps we can greet them good morning~?" Travis asked, smirking. I nodded.

"Okay. Lead the way." Travis strutted down the hallway to where Aph was staying. He peeked into the room before opening the door completely. He sauntered in and walked up to Katelyn. She looked warily at him.

"Good morning Katelyn. You look beautiful this morning," Travis flirted. He was down on the ground in a flash. "Ow," he groaned. "That hurt." Katelyn laughed. Travis crawled out of the room, leaving me with the two females.

"Good morning Aphmau. Your beauty rivals that of the sun itself, m'lady," I said, pretending to tip a fedora. Aphmau tooled her eyes. Katelyn muttered something and Aphmau laughed, motioning me to come closer. I did, and was punched to the ground. I wasn't expecting that to happen.... I bet Katelyn gave her that idea...

It had been a few days since either Aphmau or I have had one of the dreams at the tree. I was worried, but Aphmau was flat out about to flip. She was freaking out, assuming the worst, and nobody could calm her down. Soothing words were ineffective against her motherly concern. It was sort of amusing, but at the same time so unlike Aphmau. She was flipping between trying to find a new island for the Phoenix Alliance and get Garroth and (Y/N) back safely. It was rather frustrating just watching Aphmau strain herself, and everyone close to her felt the pressure. I sighed, hoping we could some day go back to how things were before Zane. I knew that could never happen though. I scratched my orange cat ears. Things couldn't be "normal" because nobody knew what that word even meant. Things had changed so much, I had changed. I had killed so many werewolves without a second thought, and had felt repulsed that their deaths were bloody enough. I was repulsed by myself now, so my self disappointment only added to the negative feelings of the group.

"Hey Laurance, we're here," Katelyn called. I just watched from the ship deck as the island came into view. It's two huge mountains stole the attention from the surrounding forest. I gazed at the island, only looking down when I heard a splash, followed by another. I looked down and saw Aphmau and Katelyn bobbing in the water. I sighed before joining them, deciding a change of scenery could do me some good.

Sorry it's bad, but I kind of needed a filler. I had my first official basketball game and it was horrible. But that doesn't matter. See you next week. Bye!
