(Present day) It was the last week of the semester, and as Aidan was walking down the hallway, he turned around a corner and bumped into Sabrina knocking her books down.

"Oh sorry" he said as he helped her pick up her books.

"It's fine" she said dully as he handed her her stuff and she walked away.

Aidan has never seen Sabrina like that, she was usually happy, recently he's noticed that she's been very depressed lately. But when he looked down, he saw that he had forgot to give her another book. He saw that it was opened and it was filled with handwritten entries. He picked it up and saw that it was a story she had written. He then started to read it, he was amazed by how good this story was, but he knew he had to give it back to her. He figured he'll do it after lunch.

_______

Now at lunch, as Elena sat down down at her table with her tray of food, Mira sat down in front of her.

"So" she said with her sneak smile "Did you read the diary?"

"Yes" Elena sighed as she pulled it out.

"So what do you think?"

"Well, I do have to agree with you on some things. Like if there isn't a villain there isn't any story."

"Yep" Mira agreed "It will just make the story boring."

"And that villains help everyone, like if it wasn't for you, Snow White wouldn't of married her prince and Olivia wouldn't here."

"Yeah well this isn't about her. So what else did you think about my diary?"

"Well it goes to show how much of a bad mother you are" Elena frowned.

"What?" Mira said surprised.

"I mean seriously, you tried to kill my friends."

"All because you lied to me about wanting to be evil" Mira frowned back.

"But what kind of mother wants to kill her daughter's own friend? Oh I know, you. Cause all you care about is being the most powerful one of all."

"I care about you too, do you know how much I've been through just to see you again, I'm doing this for the best of you."

"You're doing this cause it's best for yourself."

"Raven!" Mira gasped.

"You know what else I learned from your diary?" Elena asked with a frown "Is that you were never there for me, you were never a real mother for me."

"What are you talking about? I kept you alive."

"No, the servants and dad kept me alive, you were always in your room plotting a way to rule over other kingdoms and to make sure I be evil like you. But guess what? It's never gonna happen, I will never be like you."

"But what about your story? Didn't you agree that without a villain your story is gonna be boring, villains are the key to a happily ever after."

"Yeah, a happily ever after for the heroes. And what about us villains, oh that's right, we don't get a happily ever after."

"We can after the story."

"Oh just forget Mira, you don't care about what I believe, all you care about is being feared and powerful, and that's not who I want to be."

Mira gave her a mad look.

"Very well" she said as she took her diary "But know this, without a villain, there's no story."

"Then I guess I guess I'll have to find a new villain for my story."

"How are you gonna do that?"

"I'm sure Faybelle would be gladly to take my place, isn't that why she helped you?" Elena said with a sneaky smile.

Mira gave a small growl as she stood up.

"This isn't over Raven" she frowned "I will never stop until I get what I want. And you wanna know why? Cause it's far better to be feared than forgotten."

And with that she stomped away, leaving Elena alone and thinking about what to do now.

The start of Spring Break had finally arrived at Ever After, and Daring was running through the Enchanted Forest from some guards on horses. He continued to run until he turned another way causing the men to turn their horses the other way and after him. Daring ran until he came upon a tall tower, he quickly hid in the bushes in front of the tower as the men ran pass him.

"Where is he?" one of them demanded.

"He can't be very far" another said "Just keep searching."

After they had left, Daring came out from the bushes and gave a sigh in relief.

"You need some help?" a voice asked.

He looked up and saw Holly looking down at him from a window in the tower.

"Cause you seem you really needed to get away from those guards" she said "Would you like to come up?"

"Um, sure" he said.

"Alright" she smiled as she gathered her hair and threw it out the window as it reached the ground "Come on up."

Grabbing her silky hair, Daring started to climb up the tower until he made it to the window where Holly helped him in.

"Thanks" he said.

"No problem" she smiled "Now uh, why were you running from those guards?"

"Oh uh, I kinda got in trouble with their king."

"Who's their king?"

"King George."

"King George?" she gasped.

"You know him?"

"My father knows him, and boy they did not get along."

"Well he doesn't get along with my father."

"Oh please, he doesn't like anyone."

"Yep" he agreed "Now uh, what exactly are you doing up here?"

"Well I've actually been here since last night, I was in the Enchanted Forest cause I left my scarf here, but then I saw this massive wolf! The only place I saw where I could hide was this tower, so I went in and I've been here all night."

"How did you get in here?"

"I have my ways."

"Now uh, when are you gonna get out?"

"I will soon, but it's quite comfy in here, plus I really like this view."

Holly showed him the view of the forest with the school in the back.

"Wow" Daring said amused "This is a nice view. But aren't your friends worried about where you are?"

"Oh they're not worried, I texted them about where I am, but I'm planning on leaving soon, I just needed some alone you know."

"Oh uh, so does that mean you want me to leave?"

"No you can stay if you want, keep me company. Maybe you can protect me from that wolf if it comes back."

Daring gave a chuckle "Alright, I'll keep you company."
