Another day at Ever After High, and as Raven was heading towards class, she almost bumped into a girl with bright pink hair and a container in her arms. She realized that the girl was Ginger Breadhouse, daughter of the Candy Witch from 'Hansel and Gretel', but unlike her mother, Ginger was as sweet was the nonpoisonous treats she would make.
"Oh I'm sorry Ginger" Raven said politely.
"That's okay" Ginger smiled as she looked at her through her yellow sweet spectacles.
"Ooo" Raven spotted the blue and purple cupcakes in the container Ginger was holding "Those look good, can I have one?"
"You can have a blue one" Ginger said as she opened the container "The purple ones I had to make for and assignment in Science and Sorcery".
"Oo what's the assignment?" Raven asked as she took a bite of the purple cupcake.
"Well I had to create an ingredient that will turn someone into an animal, but it's harmless and temporary and I can turn them back".
"That doesn't sound evil to me" Raven said with a little smile, knowing that Ginger would never do anything evil.
"Well I made sure that if anyone eats it they'll turn into a harmless animal, like a bunny or something".
"Cool" Raven smiled "Well we should get to class, I'll see you around".
"You too" Ginger smiled as they headed to their classes.
Science and Sorcery was one of Ginger's favorite class due to learning about chemicals and potions which made it easy since it was similar to measure recipes for her treats, but even though she liked the subject, she didn't like the teacher, Professor Rumpelstiltskin who was mean, bossy, loud, and he gave hard tests expecting his students to fail so they would ask for extra credit, which they only get by spinning straw into gold.
As Ginger walked into class, she went to her seat and placed the container next to her as she sat down. She saw that everyone else had brought a certain food with a secret ingredient contained in them. As they waited for their teacher, a girl with platinum hair with a blue streak tied into a ponytail used her fairy wings to fly in. She placed her pom poms next to the table and took her seat next to Ginger. Ginger knew her as Faybelle Thorn, daughter of the Dark Fairy from the Sleeping Beauty story, and her old friend. The two were best friends when they were kids, but as they got older, Faybelle took her destiny as the next Dark Fairy seriously as Ginger stood back from her destiny, therefor it broke them apart and they haven't gotten along since. But since the beginning of the year, Faybelle and Ginger were assigned to be lab partners, making Ginger do all the work as Faybelle just ignored her.
Just then, their teacher Professor Rumpelstiltskin walked in and stood on the desk for he was only 3 feet high.
"Silence!" he yelled in his Russian accent as everyone faced him "Everyone vas show ve their assignment! You!" he pointed to Dexter as the prince's eyes widen "You vill be the fed to!"
"Me?" Dexter said nervously.
"Get up here!" Rumpelstiltskin ordered.
Dexter nervously got up and went to the front of the class.
"You first!" Rumpelstiltskin pointed to Briar Beauty
"Okay" Briar said with a nervous look as she brought up a pie "I made blueberry pie that will hopefully turn someone into an animal, I don't know what animal though".
"Feed to him!" Rumpelstiltskin pointed to Dexter.
"I'm sorry if this doesn't turn out right Dex" Briar said with a nervous look as she gave him a spoonful of the pie.
Dexter gave a sigh as he ate the piece of the pie. Everyone waited for something to happen, all of a sudden Dexter felt a bit of discomfort in his stomach, and he felt something starting to rise to his throat. Briar quickly moved out of the way as fire blew out of Dexter's mouth. After that, Dexter quickly ran to a sink and gulped down the cold water to cool his fire mouth.
"Fail!" Rumpelstiltskin yelled at Briar "Sit!"
Briar gave a sad sigh as she sat down.
"Uh Professor Rumpelstiltskin?" Ginger raised her hand.
"No questions!" Rumpelstiltskin yelled.
"I was just gonna say that I would like to go next" Ginger said politely.
"Oh fine" Rumpelstiltskin grunted "Vake it quick!"
"Thank you" Ginger said as she picked up her container and went up to Dexter "Take a purple one".
"Oh boy" Dexter sighed as he took a purple cupcake and took a bite of it.
Everyone watched as Dexter suddenly disappeared in a 'poof!' They then heard a quack, they looked down and saw a duck on the floor wearing the same glasses as Dexter.
"Ta da" Ginger smiled.
"Fine!" Rumpelstiltskin grunted "Pass!"
Ginger smiled as she took a piece of a blue cupcake and held it near the Dexter duck.
"Take this" she told him "It'll turn you back".
The duck gobbled up the piece of the cupcake, Ginger stood back as the duck transformed back into Dexter.
"There you go" Ginger smiled as Dexter coughed out a feather.
"Here" she handed him a blue cupcake "My treat".
"Thanks" Dexter said as he coughed out another feather and took the cupcake.
After class, before Ginger could head out of class, she was blocked by Faybelle who had a frown on her face like always.
"That was some assignment Ginger" she said with a hint of sarcasm "I was really expecting you to give Dexter a bit more, poisoning".
Ginger gave a smirk.
"Well at least I passed" she said.
"Well mine was better" Faybelle crossed her arms "You should of seen the way Dexter was when he turned into a little dragon".
"But you failed cause Dexter lit Professor Rumpelstiltskin's hat on fire".
"But it was worth it, I mean, you gotta admit, it was funny".
"Not really" Ginger said as she scooted pass Faybelle and into the hall.
Faybelle watched with with a frown on her face as her old friend walked away.
