Ch.64 Enchanted Cuffs

After school, Elena, Darling, Lauren, and Francis went to Mr. Gold's shop, hoping to find a magic brush or paint Francis could use to paint the Enchanted Cuffs. When they walked into the shop, they saw Mr. Gold looking at the urn on a shelf.

"Mr. Gold" Elena said.

"Oh, hello ladies" he said "What can I help you with?"

"Do you happen to have like a magic paintbrush or paint?"

"What for?"

"We're trying to transport an item to our world, and Lauren told us that there's like a magic paintbrush or paint that can do so."

"Hmm" Mr. Gold said as he started to think "I might have something like that."

He then started to look around his shop, and soon he was able to find a box and opened it, there resting on a velvet fabric was a silver paintbrush.

"Is this what you girls are looking for?" he showed them the brush.

"Wait" Francis said with a small gasped as she took the brush and examined "I think I've seen this brush before."

"You have?" Darling said.

Francis examined the brush more as it triggered her memory.

"Oh my gosh" she gasped "This is the magic paintbrush. It can paint anything into existence."

"Really?" the girls gasped.

"I remember I used this to paint a bracelet into existence, and now I can use it to paint the cuffs."

"But what about paint?" Elena asked.

"Oh I just need regular paint, which luckily I always carry with me."

Francis reached into her bag and pulled out a small container of paint.

"Now all I need is an empty canvas" she said.

"Here" Mr. Gold said as he placed a black canvas on an art stool and faced her.

"Alright" Francis said as she got her art tools ready "What do the cuffs look like?"

"Here" Elena showed her the picture.

Francis started to paint the cuffs on the canvas with the magic paintbrush. Everyone watched as she soon finished the painting, let it dry for a bit, and she reached her hands into the canvas and pulled out the cuffs.

"Oh my God" Elena gasped "That was amazing."

"Here" Francis handed the cuffs to her.

"Okay great" Darling said "Now we have the cuffs, but where's Mira?"

"She went into the woods to go to the highest peek."

"What?" Elena said.

"What for?" Darling asked.

"She said that she was going to release Darkness all over Storybrooke."

"What?!" the girls gasped.

"Darkness?" Elena said with shock "Where did she get Darkness?"

"That doesn't matter" Darling said "We have to find her now before it's too late!"

And with that the girls ran out of the shop. But as they were heading for the woods, they almost ran into Olivia and Terrence.

"Oh hey guys" Olivia said "You guys seem to be in a rush."

"We are" Elena said as she caught her breath "Mira is about to let out Darkness over Storybrooke."

"Darkness?" Terrence said.

"We don't have to explain, we gotta find Mira."

As they headed off, Olivia and Terrence decided to follow. Meanwhile, now on the highest peek in the woods, Mira stood on the peek gazing over Storybrooke with the urn in her hands.

"Alright Darkness" she said "You know what to do, find Raven, make her evil."

But right before she could open the urn, a familiar voice called her name. She turned around to see Elena along with her friends.

"Raven" Mira smiled as she turned to the others "Others" she frowned "What are you all doing here?"

"Stopping you from releasing Darkness" Elena frowned "Now hand over the urn."

But Mira just gave a small laugh.

"Like I'm gonna do that" she grinned.

"Alright that's it" Elena scowled as she used her powers to try to take the urn away, but Mira fought back as she tried to pull the urn towards her.

But just when Elena almost had the urn, Mira used her powers to shoot everyone back as the urn went back to her.

"You're gonna have to do a lot better than that dear" she said to Elena with a sneaky smile "But remember, I'm more powerful than you."

At that point Elena stood up and faced Mira with a mad look.

"Shall we find out then?" she said as she blasted her magic at Mira, sending her rolling down a hill as the urn slipped out of her hands.

Mira quickly got up and saw Elena walking towards her.

"Oh come on dear" Mira said with a sneaky smile "You don't want to hurt your own mother do you?"

"I might have to" Elena scowled "So you wont hurt my friends."

As they continued to stare at each other, Olivia went to the urn and picked it up.

"Oh" Mira said as she turned to Olivia "You mean like this one?"

At that point Mira used her powers to lift up Olivia by her neck.

"Olivia!" Elena screamed as she quickly used her powers on Mira to let go of Olivia.

Now back on the ground, Olivia gasped for air as she continued to hold onto the urn.

"This is between you and me Mira" Elena scowled "Not my friends."

"Well" Mira said with a snarky smile "A mother daughter duel huh? Let's see how well you'll do."

And with that she shot out her magic towards Elena, but Elena quickly used her powers to block Mira's magic. The 2 continued to push their magic against each other, but soon Elena was able to shoot Mira back crashing into a tree. Mira then got up in pain as she rubbed her back.

"Well that really hurt that back" she frowned at Elena.

"Oh good" Elena said with a fake smile.

"But that wont stop me" she scowled as she blasted her magic at Elena who quickly ducked as the magic hit a tree behind her.

But at that point, the tree started to lean towards Elena.

"Elena look out!" Terrence shouted as Elena turned around to see the tree falling towards her.

Elena was too shocked to move, so Terrence quickly ran and pushed her out of the way as the tree slammed onto the ground with a loud thump. Elena gave a small gasped as she looked up to see Terrence's blue eyes staring at her.

"You okay?" he asked her

"Yeah" she said as they got up "Thank you."

"Well I've had enough of this" Mira said as she used her powers to pull the urn out of Olivia's hands and towards "But I got Darkness to release."

And with that she ran away.

"Not on my watch" Elena frowned as she went after her.
