Ch.9 Andy

After coming back from the Enchanted forest, Raven was walking down the hall towards her dorm when Melody Piper stopped her.

"Hey Raven" she said "I need your music advice, so I created a new mashup, and I want your opinion on it".

"Oh sure" Raven said as Melody gave her her headphones and she put them on.

Raven listened to the music mashup, it sounded amazing. Raven knew Melody was the best DJ at Ever After, and every music she created sounded great.

"That was spelltacular" she smiled as she gave her back the headphones.

"Thanks" Melody smiled "Can't wait to let everyone hear it at the next party".

"Well everyone's gonna love it".

"Thank you" Melody smiled as she went away.

After that, Raven went up to her dorm and went in.

"Oh there you are Raven" her roommate Apple White said "Where you been?"

"I was taking a walk in the Enchanted forest and almost got shot with an arrow".

"Oh my gosh" Apple gasped "What happened?"

"This jerk wasn't watching to make sure the coast was clear".

"Was it Sparrow?"

"No, it was some guy I've never met before, I don't think he goes to our school".

"Well we're the only school here, although he could be home schooled".

"Yeah maybe, but he really needs to watch before he shoots, that arrow went right in front of me!"

"Yikes!" Apple cringed.

"I just hope I'll never see that guy again" Raven frowned.

"I wonder who is he though? I mean he has to be the son of a fairytale character".

"Hmm" Raven started to think "Well let's see, he likes to shoot arrows, and he has a snarky attitude, sounds like Hunter and Sparrow".

"Well I don't know a story like that, maybe he doesn't have a destiny".

"Well I don't really care, I just don't want to see him again".

At the 'Wonder diner', Elena was sitting at a table on her phone minding her own business when Courtly came up to her wearing an apron and a pad and pen in her hands.

"Hey Raven" Courtly smiled "Can I get you anything?"

Elena looked at Courtly with a confused.

"Courtly?" she said "What are you doing here?"

"I work here now" Courtly said.

"You do?"

"Yeah" Lauren said from behind the counter "But don't worry, you don't have to be afraid of her, she's trying to become a better person and just needs a fresh start".

Elena looked at Courtly with an unsure look.

"Don't worry" Courtly said "You can trust me, now can I get you anything?"

"Uh... I guess I'll take a cup of mint tea".

"Coming right up" Courtly said as she went away.

At that point, a girl with brown flowing hair came in and sat in front of Elena at that table.

"Hey" she smiled.

"Hey Brooke" Elena smiled.

Brooke Page, daughter of the Narrators is considered the know it all of Storybrooke for she was the only one not cursed. She knows everything about everyone, even more than Hailee.

"So you wanted to talk about the curse?" Brooke asked.

"Yeah" Elena said "I've been thinking about trying to find a way to fully break the curse, but since I got my powers back, I've been trying to use it for good, but it keep backfiring".

"Well it's normal for that to happen, but you're a powerful sorcerer Elena, it just takes time for you to fully embrace it".

"Here's your mint tea" Courtly came up and placed a mug of the mint tea in front of Elena "It's not poisoned, I swear".

"Thank you" Elena said as Courtly went away.

Elena then turned to Brooke.

"So is there like any easier way for me to practice my magic?" she asked.

"Not really" Brooke said "All you can do is just practice, it'll get better eventually. But I do have something for you".

She reached into her purse and pulled out a purple book with a dragon skull and piercing red gem eyes that stared at them. Elena's eyes widen.

"Is that-" she began to ask.

"Your mother's spell book?" Brooke finished "Yep. But it's yours now".

"Mine?"

"Well your mother wont be needing it now that she's back in her mirror prison, so I figured you might need it to practice your magic".

Elena took the book and examined it.

"But aren't all the spells in here like, evil?" she asked.

"Well some are" Brooke said "But there are some that can be helpful".

Elena flipped through the pages, knowing that her mother had used some of the spells for evil, but she was gonna use them for good.

"Well I might try one out later" she said.

"All right, just be careful when you do".

"I know, and I think I should get going".

"But what about your tea?" Brooke held up the mug of tea that Elena hadn't drank.

"Oh you can have it" Elena said "My treat".

"Oh, thank you" Brooke smiled as she took a sip of the tea.

"Well I'll see you later Brooke".

"Okay, bye".

But as Elena turned around to head out, she accidentally bumped into a guy with dark hair.

"Oh I'm sorry" they both said, but when they looked at each other, their eyes widen.

"Andy?!" Elena gasped.

"Elena?!" he gasped.

"What are you doing here?!"

"I was gonna ask you the same thing".

"I moved here".

"You did?"

"Uh, Elena" Brooke said "Who is this?"

"Brooke" Elena said with a little frown "This is Andy, my ex who dumped me on my birthday".
