Ch.37 Starting

Now back at her father's shop, Jiminy hopped off her shoulder as she reached into her purse and pulled out the magic paintbrush.

"Here you go dad" she handed it to Pinocchio.

"Oh thank you" he said as he took the brush "Was it easy for you to bring it here?"

"Well I did run into some trouble with your old 'friends'" she admitted "But I was able to outwit them".

"Well at least you're okay, now I was finally paint this arrow".

Pinocchio then went into a room with Cedar following as he walked up to an art easel with a blank canvas. He then dipped the paintbrush into a gold paint and started to brush it on the paper. Cedar watched as he finished painting the arrow, he then reached into the painting and was able to pull out the arrow. Cedar's eyes widen at what she just saw.

"Here it is" Pinocchio said as he examined the arrow "The arrow that never misses it's target".

"Amazing" Cedar said with amazement.

"What do you call it?" Jiminy asked.

"Let's just call it the Enchanted Bow" Pinocchio said "And now that nice gentlemen can finally get what he wants. Father!"

At that point Gepetto came in.

"I need you to call that customer who last came here" Pinocchio said "Tell him that his bow is ready".

"On it" Gepetto said as he went away.

"So uh" Cedar said "What are you gonna do with that paintbrush?"

Pinocchio looked at the magic paintbrush as he thought about it.

"You can have it" he finally said.

"Really?" Cedar gasped.

"Well I figured that you might need it someday, and since you love to paint, this will be perfect for you".

He then handed the brush to her as she took it.

"Wow" she smiled with amusement "This is great".

"Although, don't use it too much" Pinocchio put in "I recommend you only use it if you really need something and can't be able to get it, and don't go overboard".

"I will" she promised "Thanks".

"Anything for you" he smiled as he rubbed her shoulder.

After he went into the front, Cedar looked at the paintbrush and thought about what to paint. Soon an idea came up as she went to the canvas and flipped the paper to a new sheet.

"You're gonna use it now?" Jiminy said.

"I just wanna try it out" she said as she dipped the brush into some paint and began to paint on the paper.

After she was finished, she reached into painting and pulled out a bracelet. Cedar gave a big smile as she put the bracelet on.

"Interesting" Jiminy said "You can make as many jewelry as you want".

"I can" she said "But this is just a one time thing, I will now only use it if I really have too. And who knows, I might just be able to paint something that can be useful".

Morning had arrived, and Rachel was still in bed asleep. Soon she felt herself waking up, she rubbed her eyes and was about to pull the blanket off her when she noticed that she only had her bra on. She pulled the blanket up and noticed that Andy was laying next to her shirtless and was starting to wake up.
