Chapter 35:Bow down Roxane

Zyraine's POV

Take a deep breath Zyraine.You wanted this right?Now,inhale then exhale.Repeat again and again.

"Your hands are sweating."

Napatingin ako sa kamay ko na hawak hawak ni Lance.Namamawis nga ito,bibitaw sana ko pero mas hinigpintan nya pa ang hawak dito.

"Its fine."

He smile at me but I can't return his smile.Geez!I'm nervous af.

"Calm down.Magiging okay din ang lahat,its your 20th birthday today so be happy.Makakadating tayo don ng ayos at makaka alis ng maayos.Okay?"

Isinandal ko ang ulo ko sa dibdib nya.Its comforting and I feel safe but---its not home.He kissed my temple and played with my hair.

We are on our way to the Palace.This is the day,ang araw na mag babago ang lahat.I compromised with the king,na bubuksan ang palasyo para sa lahat.

Kaming dalawa ni Lance at ng protector,ipinadala ng hari,ang nasa sasakyan.Naka sunod sila mommy samin gamit ang sasakyan ni daddy.Samantalang si Nomi?Mag tatravel nalang daw sya through teleport.

Bumungad samin ang malaking gate.Mataas ito na meron ding matataas at malalaking pader.Pagkabukas ng gate ay nadatnan namin ang malawak na hardin.But it just add more creeps because of the dead leaves,dry Bermuda grass and red and black roses na nakakabit sa stems kahit wala ng dahon.

Itinigil ang sasakyan kaya napatingin ako sa protector.Sumulyap naman sya sakin pero hindi tumingin sa mga mata ko.

"I'm sorry Queen pero hindi po maaring ipasok ang sasakyan.Kailangan po nating lumakad pamula rito."

Tumango nalang ako at hindi nag salita.Nauna syang lumabas at pinagbuksan ako ng pinto pero hindi nya ako hinawakan.Geez.

The moment I step my feet on the dry Bermuda grass unti unti itong naging green.I look at the protector but he is just smiling while looking at the alive Bermuda grass.

"They felt your presence Queen."

Umangkla ako sa braso ni Lance dahil kinikilabutan ako.Nagsimula na kaming maglakad at gaya ng nangyari sa damo.Lahat ng lakaran ko,nabubuhay.

"Those roses are cursed flowers princess.They can live without water or anything,para lang silang damo na kung saan saan tumutubo.But once that you pricked your finger in their thorns,you're body will be numb and be unconscious or be in coma."

I look at Lance with curiousness in my eyes.He chuckle and pinch my nose.

"Research."

He simply said so I just shrug my shoulder.I felt Nomi's presence so I stop.Pati tuloy ang protector naalarma,I felt someone throw daggers on my face but I immediately catch it.I look at the tree beside me.

I saw Roxane grinning at me.I throw her back the daggers and she didn't expected that so she had wounds in her cheeks. Tumalon sya at bumaba sa puno.She's wearing a fitted brown dress na napunit sa gilid dahil natamaan ng isang dagger na inihagis ko.

Papalapit na sya sakin ng bigla syang natumba.Her eyes widen because of shock,but my eyes widen more when I saw Nomi slap her face.

"Nobody dares to do that to my sister."

Nag-aapoy sa galit ang mga mata ni Roxane ng tumayo sya at akmang susugudin si Nomi ng sampal ng biglang may pumigil sa kanya.

"Don't you dare lay your filthy hand to my sister's face."

The protector is just watching us.He seems satisfied to what he's seeing.

"Let go!How dare you insult me?Don't you know me?I am Roxane Laine Juangco!I am an Juangco and---"

Nomi slap her again then smirk.

"And we are Mathsons.The 8th Pureblood family."

Roxane's face became paled.

"And..."

She looks at me.

"I.AM.THE.QUEEN."

I said with declaration.Bitch.
