take a trip down memory lane,
go back to when life wasn't such a pain
life isn't always going to go your way,
but its your choice whether or not you stay
lifes about your mistakes,
it helps make the road you take
its about who came into your life and stayed,
also about the ones that payed
the ones who changed your life for worse or better,
the ones who wrote you those letters
ones who make you smile,
who wrote your name in tile
ones who dont make you hide,
the ones who make you feel as though you can glide
take a picture - write the date,
make it a memory you won't hate
even if they may only be a mate,
its one less person you learn to hate
family isnt all about blood,
your friends can be included in that flood
love and hate,
dont always make the perfect mate
life and death,
still consist of breath
take a chance,
don't let the opportunity pass
dont risk your life though,
no one wants you to go
people care,
even though the possibility seems rare
lifes about the journey,
the road in which gets you there
