you dont understand

if I told you the truth

would you believe me or need proof?

if you knew the real me

would you like the person I would be?

you dont understand

what it feels like to be second hand

I trust you

so I don't know what to do

I don't want to push you away

but I'm afraid you won't want to stay

if you knew my past

would our friendship last?

if you knew what I've been through

would you be there to see it through?

would you care

if I was there?

the only thing I feel is fear

but its something I dont want you to hear

what is it you want to hear

that all I feel is fear?

you want to know that I used to cut?

that all people would do was tut?

my fear levels are rising

which results in me hiding

I want to say goodbye

but you wont take that so I lie

so I tell you this mate

you are one of the few people I don't hate

I love you all

which makes me stand up tall

I stay strong for all of you

its the only thing I know to do

I care for you all

so please stand up tall
